Good to study

The administration is not so cool and they are not very efficient at their work. Overall studying in this college seems to be a good idea if someone wants to persue engineering from a private engineering college in West Bengal.

B Tech is always a great course to study and people gather lot of knowledge as well as get a job from the college. The exams are conducted through semester basis and there are a total of 8 semesters in the curriculum.

Almost 70-80% of the students were placed. Though the packages were not so high for all but keeping the present trend at consideration they provide good opertunity. The college arranges for the internships after 6th Semester and no stipend is given.

Various events are celebrated such as tech fest and cultural fest. The main event of an engineering college is the technical fest and it is conducted for 2-3 days. Other festive events such as Saraswati Puja etc are also organized

The fees structure is not too much in comparison to the other private colleges. The semester fees ranges from 35-50000 per semester excluding hostel and examination fees. The college does not charge extra.

The college tottaly helps for loan from the bank. A bank is also there in the premises of the college for the help of the students. Scholarship is provided to the least previlaged students and the best students from each department.

There is a big football ground available in the college premises. It has 2 more grounds. A well equipped gym is also there. A newly made Basketball court is there which is one of the best I saw. Cycling is also available.

The hostel facility is good and it has arrangements to accomodate all the students. Though mess and flat on rent are available nearby, hostel is still the best facility available. Food is the hostel is not too good.

They are helpful of people are in good touch. People tend to help each other in various queries related to jobs and other fields. People studying in the college are good and help each other even after passing out from there.

One has to write the different joint exams such as wbjee, achieve a good rank. Then one has to take part in the counceling process conducted by the state boards and the central boards and opt for the college and the course.

The faculty are moderate. They are helpful. Some language barrier is there for few students but overall the college has some good list of faculties in most of the departments. Most of the HOD's have a Ph. D. Degree.
