Nice Experience with university

• I have choosed this course because of the subjects it includes all the subjects are important for any job profile and have keen interest in accounting ,taxation , auditing , management etc. • the subjects that are included in couses are good but the real world applications lacks behind in this college and I miss this the most. Intership opportunity are provided but they are also not so good to get experiece of the real world. So we can say that real world exposure in not good through this acadmic pursuit. • faculty should include more practical way of learning. Through mid semester exam students should me given target and make them interact with real world and they should have given research work. Some more subject should included in course. The exam is not so difficult of student have attended the classes regulary and prepare the syallbus acurately they can easily pass exam with good marks. Regularity of student is important for clearly exam. Exam is conducted every six months there is not so much pressure of exam as student get time to prepare well.

Name of companies are • zeilhoch •AIMS etc 1.Marketing core intern 2.financial analysis intern marketing manager customer support and executive. They offer first training of 1 month and then they tell uss to sell their products and policies. If we do task and complete target they will pay stipend of 10-15k depends upon work otherwise no payment is made.

From 5th semester students get chance to sit in campus placements. Companies like TCS, mandot securities , dristi ias, conginant, etc visited campus for placements. Offer and intake is 5-10 out off 100 Highest placement is around 9 lakh ctc Average is 4 lakh some offers below this also. Company hires for profile of Customer support, calling experts, sales executive and some for account associate etc. The percentage of placement is 20%

#Fees for General category - ?3200 yearly including tuition, lab registration #And Exam fees of ?700 for each semester #For OBC and Sc St - only ?500 yearly fees and exam fees ?700 # Total course fees for general categories including exam fees is around for three is ?14500 #And for other categories-?6000 *My course fees remains same for all the three years their is very little chances of increase in fees structure. As university is central Government . #College provides scholarship -1.Merit cum means 2. Central sector 3. Minority 4. Scholarship for post graduates 5. MPTAAS 6.OBC scholarship 7. Single girl child 8. ST SC categories scholarship and several other scholarships that comes under national scholarship scheme. I have got central sector for all 3 years of my course. #Central sector and minority students get 12000 yearly #OBC students get refund of fees they paid.

Commerce Department Conduct every year Vanijya utsav in the month of April or may. Many cultural performances and games are held in this fest. Also every year on 26 November university conduct gour utsav it is program of 1 week where many games are held and on 26th at a very large scale fair is conducted. University is decorated students get sweets etc. Our library is full of books ,journals novels, etc it is the biggest library of Madhya Pradesh. The college give facility but projector facility is there only in some classes also computer lab doesn't have latest computers. Sports club and cultural club is very active student interested can join they get chance to fight inter university, national etc. Clubs like ABVP and NSUI are also there but there is not much conflict that effect student life.

I have lived in university hostel only. I have got hostel because at that time addmission is done on merit based . Hostel is very old there is common wash room for each wing. Double sharing room. Also there is new building students are living there also. We got mess in hostel with four meals Breakfast which is limited and lunch and dinner unlimited. Hostel food is okay quality is also good according to price .we don't have option of tiffin facility. Mess charges are ?2250 per month And hostel fees is ? 200per month. There is on extra charges for electricity. Given induction for cooking for each floor wing. Hostel is affordable as we can go our department walking it saves transport cost. Also hostel fees is very low.

When I took admission the university has its own entrance exam. But now it accept CUET exam for admission the cutoff for admission is not so much high for bachelore of commerce degree. I have choose this college because it's in city near to my home town I have got hostel facility because I scored good marks. I haven't choose any other college because at that time covid is there. Dr. Harisingh Gour University Exam Accepted - CUET UG for Bcom Eligibilty - 12th with commerce Admission process - is difficult much paper work is required before and after admission. Cutoff - not so high When I took admission cut off for my course was 117 aur General category out of 200 Obc 90/200

• there are around 10 permanent 4 guest and many PHD scholars who teach us. • every class has 50 students. Alsmost 250 students. Faculty to student ratio is 1:10 • Our faculty relationship with students is great they look after each and every students and listen to every problem. They help student in any situation not only in studies also in family problems. • DR. Shalini Mam who taught us Economics and INdian economics she is a great mentor teacher motivator she not only teach us subject but also many life learning and given us many opportunities to grow. • Dr. Rupali Mam she taught me Income tax and cost accounting. Her way of teaching was great I have got full marks in my final exam because of her only. • there are many others teachers they teach many new things to us. • In my journey of three years all the faculty who taught me was very nice each of them have given there 100% and given all the knowledge they have. •our University conduct semesters 2 semesters in one year. Each semester includes 2 mid semesters and a final end sem exams. # mid semester are of 20 marks each and final of 60 each. # on an average 10 students got backlpag in each semester. #the exam is not very difficult to clear if a student is attentive and done good in mid semester he or she can easily pass. # course curriculum is good but it only lack behind in practical exposure of subjects we only learn theoritical aspects. # In mid 2 of every semester we have to make projects and give presentation and Viva it help to build motivation leadership and confidence of students. # our faculty never demotivate any student they teach from very basic to weak student that how to speak in interview how to give presentqtion etc.

My night life is spend in my hostel my hostel is government hostel inside university full of greenary flowers. Our hostel got close at 8 in summer and 7.30 in winter. After which we have to live inside hostel only but we enjoy with friends there. Classes are conducted from 10am to 2pm after which you can do whatever u want. # hangout places in university is Tapra we also call it central point library side. #there is also mansthamb for jain people where I used to go and that place is very peacefull for me. # locality is not so much safe at night for individual but you can go in group. As university is in top forest year there is chances of fear of animals.
