A Good College for CA-CS students.

The college is good for CA students or CS students, however, for pretty much anyone else, it os just an average college to get a degree of Barkatulllah University

No specific admission exams are required to join Vikramaditya College. It admits trough the online admission portal by MP Gov. The main purpose of joining this college was the advantageous class timings which matched brilliantly with my coaching schedules for CA-CPT and later for CA-IPCC.

The course is based on Barkatullah University syllabus and apart from that no additional subjects or training are required to be provided. The subjects that I opted for were Accounting, Applied Economics, Foundation Course, and Business Management. The foundation course covers languages of English and Hindi which are divided among the six semesters of the course. And along with that a 50 mark subject is also included which varies from Environmental studies to Entrepreneurship Development, etc.

No. the college does not provide internship, but the faculty does help you to find one that is suitable.

A lot of companies like TCS, Infosys and other renowned companies regularly call for placements from the college. Mostly, the placements yeild a remuneration of around 2.5 lacs to 4 lacs per annum depending on the student himself as well. A good 75 percent of the students easily secure a job through placements.

The annual day of the college is celebrated along with the teachers' day on 5th September. The whole college gathers for the event. Apart from that, all national festivals like Independence Day, Republic Day, etc. are celebrated every year. The freshers party and farewell parties also gather crowd. Apart from that, there are other minor events on regular basis.

The fee structure of the college is farely economical with the semester tuition fee falling in the bracket of Rs.3500. However, there is an admission fee of around 1200 and examination fees which varies from every semester and falls around 1000. It is easily one of the cheapest college in terms of fee structure, in Bhopal.

The scholarship is available through the Mp Gov portal and the scholarship amount is directly deposited in the student's fee account.

The gender ratio is quite equal in the college, with almost equal number of boys and girls. There are no cultural or technical societies that I know of. However, the events like debates and extra curricular activities were regularly conducted and the winners were felicitated.

There is no hostel facility by the college, but however, there are multiple boys hostels and girls hostels located in close vicinity to the college.The facilities there are just like any normal hostel with eatable food and regular tap water. Most of the rooms in those hostels are 2 seaters or 3 seaters.

Speaking personally, the alumni network of the college was mostly the students of CA that I had to come across. They were great as a guide and helped a lot for the professional inputs.

The main semester exams are conducted according to the Barkatullah University norms and the same is followed for conducting internal examinations and projects. Since I was a student of economics, I did not deal with laboratories, so I cannot exactly comment on them, but the computer lab is well furnished with required infrastructure of hardware and software.

The faculty is duly qualified and totally supportive. They understand the needs of the students and accordingly try to help them. However, relying purely on the faculty for everything would be a bad decision. One must do his or her homework by preparing at an individual level. However, if the student is a CA or CS student, most of the curriculum is already dealt in their respective courses.
