What Students Say

Likes

the labs are quite very much good and well maintained.
Teachers are supportive and clears all the doubt.
Faculty are always available in the staff room (if students need their help).

Dislikes

The pressure they put on the student through out the cource.
No proper intimations are given to the students for any events happening arrond the college.
There are no proper gaps given between the semesters and the time given for each semester are very less (3 months).

Course Curriculum Overview

To be honest, college doesn't provide that much industrial knowledge or real-life problem statements, all the knowledge given by the professors is only limited to the books provided or the notes provided.

Internships Opportunities

the internship opportunities are alot in this college as during the time you do your internship the college also supports you and gives you leaves for so that you don't affect your attendance and you get eligible for exams and tests.

Placement Experience

The main reason to get into this college was that this college provides a good placement for the students and many companies come to this college as this college has a good name in Bangalore and the students placed are higher in this college than any other college. But as I am in 3rd year now I can't say if its is really what is shown in the website and in Market.

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 5 lack yearly that is fixed by the college. this fees is including everything that includes lab fees, development fees, tuition fees, registration fees. college also provide scholarship from there side and also send and provides the details for any external scholarship available.

Campus Life

yes, the college do have clubs but the department doesn't give much time to gain any knowledge from the clubs as they give soo much pressure on u academically that you yourself will loose interest and leave all the clubs and society.

Admission

Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering has a good placement record whereas, while applying for colleges I got into Christ and the placement was not good there also the main problem was that the college had introduced the engineering course for the very first time so I was not ready to take risk.

Faculty

Overall the study and the faculty provided by the college is very good, well trained, and have proper knowledge about the particular topics and subject. Teachers are also available for students whenever required and help the students in all possible ways.

Night Life

the college dont really have any night life but you can enjoy off campus as the location of the college is soo prime that you can go anywhere easily and metro connectivity is also there, the metro line is near by 1 km. outside the college you will get a lot of small cafes to hangout.

Placement Experience:

Placements aren't guaranteed and if i work hard and hard which is of course a real thing for anyone to be placed somewhere better..where we can work better. Since our college provides less Placements we got to study hard to be among the ones in the very less ones.

Though i needed cse with cybersecurity but i didnt get it so i went with Robotics and ai. In first year they have many subjects of all course which are basic and fundamentals of all branches Some are good in real world application They should add more practical stuff then theories We have 1 to 1½ month gap betwen internals and some 10 days gap between 2nd internal and sem difficult level varies every year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a tech-enthusiast and chip designing is something i have been keen to know about and hence i went in for ECE Course. The curriculum is just same as the other engineering colleges. Detailed enough to pass the semester end exams. Teaching methods and the equipments need to be changed. Its high time. While other colleges are using well designed new technologies for lab experiments, ours is still stuck on the old methods which is very frustrating as we dont receive accurate results that affects our performance.

PES has very good placement opportunities. Placements start from the 7th semester. Many multi-national companies come for campus recruitment. The highest package offered is 1.5 crore. The average package is around 9 to 11 lpa.

Review Of Dayananda Sagar College Of Engineering.

I choose this college because of the location and the placements. The college is 45 years old and has a good connection in the industry. The placements are also decent. The location of the college is really beautiful. One will find all the necessities near and around the college itself. I didn't perform well in my jee examinations, but my comedk exam went well, so I came to this college. There are 3 ways to take addmission in this college. 1st is through Comedk exam which is for all the students, inside and outside Karnataka, 2nd is through the KCET exam which is only for the Karnataka students .
