Course Curriculum Overview

The difficulty level of exam is moderate, the curriculum of my course is good . If we study according to our syllabus then we have sufficient. Exam timing is 3 hours and the half timing is 1:30 hour I.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 85000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual fee is — 84000 Tution per semester is , 1st installment 44000 and the 2nd installment is 40000 Registration fee is 2500 for general and 1500 for OBC, SC & ST If any student from Punjab, they will pay only exam fee , His total tution fee waiver by the Panjab government according to his category. In the University ' earn while scheme ' work .

Campus Life

The fest name of our college is goonj and is held in March month . Our department library is very big and we access 4 book in one time . Smart class rooms . Our department run social club name is enactus

Hostel Facilities

In the hostel room facilities bed , study table , chair and fan . The food of the mess Is good for lunch but the dinner is not good Tuesday, and Friday dinner is not good but other day dinner is good. Registration process is online. Here pg and room rent is approx 10k per month

Admission

Yes I apply uttrakhand technical university and I got admission in thdc college but I leave my college because this college is not good, but now my college is more better then thdc , placement is good, infrastructure is good

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 1:40 , and the relationship of faculty to student is great, faculty are lenient for students. My teacher jashan is good professor because she teach is good and , is very lenient. Every semester we have 4-5 subject and almost all subject is easy to moderate.

Night Life

The gym of my hostel is very good and is completely free for every hosteller. Entry in hostel is 24/7 open and the campus timeing is 9 to 5 . Student center, rose garden , and ground in university hangout. Outside is most places where you go for hangout like sukhna lake , Buddhism garden ( garden of silence)

Pec...The best college in chd

Placement Experience:

This college has decently good packages both the average package and median packages as well as almost 80 percent studnets are placed before the 4th year ends...if I talk about my branch the median was 11 lpa and almost 90 students were palced out of 120 in 2024

My review of PEC Chandigarh

Course Curriculum Overview:

For improvement in teaching methods, they can go digital, like using smartboards, or use more practical teaching methods, or maybe just improve the way of teaching simply. Teaching methods here really need upgrades, mostly students here have to rely on youtube when exams come near.

Pec is still worth it

Placement Experience:

The placements have been lowered by 10-20% recently, but they are getting better. You will get a job if you manage cgpa above 7 and are decent with your skills, but then don't dream for 20lpa + jobs, you need to work upon yourself in silence to get 25-50 lpa packages and they do happen in our colleges, highest package in electrical 2024-25 was 52 lpa and in ece cse they had 61 lpa. Companies start coming in 3rd year for internships, only 10% manage to get intern in 3rd year, companies like microsoft, atlassian, flipkart, mercedes, jp morgan etc. they do come. Placement perecentage is like 75-80% in electrical and it is very low in civil (around 40-50%), in cse it is like 90% or even higher. My plan is to get an intern asap. (Maybe in 2nd year theough offcampus)

Great college with immense opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is upto date and to the industry levels, especially with great labs and internship opportunities. Exams, are based on the course but they're quite tough and we need to study daily to get good marks.

Good college with great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from 4th year and many get PPOs in 3rd year as well. Top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, Google, visits the campus for placement. In CSE last year, the highest package was around 60 LPA with average around 17-18 LPA with 80% got placed.

PEC: where engineering meets opportunity

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements after their sixth semester. Many companies visit PEC some of the top recruiters are Uber,Microsoft,JP Morgan,Goldman Sachs,Texas Instruments,Cisco,American Express and many more. This year the highest package was 61 lpa given to 3 students from circuital branches,6 students received offer of 52 lpa. The average CTC was 13.6 lpa and specifically about ECE it was 15.6 lpa. 456 out of 694 students were placed which is a placement rate of 65.7% including PPOs from companies. My plans would be to get placed with a good package .

Pec chandigarh review

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered and internships are also offered in the 3rd year, many new branches are also being introduced to the curriculum. Placements are according to the branch and capability of the student. There is good placement ratio.
