Course Curriculum Overview

3

Average. Club activities does and sometimes ma'am teaches us extra to prepare us. Remove caed for CSE students!!! Take only one internals along with lans and one external plzz. Don't take three plus don't give assignments just after exams !!

Internships Opportunities

3

Texas Instruments, Deloitte, Capgemini etc. offered internships of 20-30k max. Only few people got more than 50k for stipend Projects and outcomes vary from company to company and they mostly hire based on LinkedIn profile

Placement Experience

3

5th semester students can get placed. 1021 offers . And 10-20 companies visited. Highest is 26.65 lpa Avg is 5 lpa More than 75 percents students get placed. After this degree I will go to US InshaAllah for doing MS.

Fees and Financial Aid

Comedk fees :- 280000 Kcet fees:- 107000 Management quota :-750000 The trs are good but the thing is this college has potential but still it's not working towards that. Plus the hostel fees is 1.4lakhs/yr and they are not even having a washing machine plus they are only giving 4 seater rooms plus the wifi sometimes work but most of the times it doesn't. The classrooms are avg and all buildings look the same. Plus they are having uniform!! We have to wear it for 4 days a week bcuz we have lans on those days. From 2nd yr it's 2 days a week. Plus ragging is also there. But after complaints the principle took very strick actions which is very much appreciated. And yeah things are cool you will find many people here

Campus Life

3

Pantheon: An inter-college festival held every two years that includes events in many fields. It's considered one of the biggest festivals in South Bengaluru. Parichay: An intra-college festival held every two years where departments compete in various events. Step Up Marathon: A yearly marathon organized by the Cultural Activity Team where the proceeds are donated to a good cause. Kannada Rajyotsava: A celebration of the language and land that includes competitions, flash mobs, Dhandiya, and Tammate. Natarang: A dance team at RNSIT that performs fusion dances. Dhwani: A college band at RNSIT that performs fusion numbers. Doodle contest: An intra-college doodle contest. Science Fest: A fest for first-year students that includes competitions like quiz, treasure hunt, model presentation, shark tank, and poster design and collage making. Library is good but it's closed on Sundays!! Plus on Saturday it's open till 5pm only Sports is descent The facilities and technological provisions within classrooms are avg. It would feel like school All groups are great especially the Enlightera one

Hostel Facilities

2

Trash facilities you have to ask for each and every fucking thing and it would take days for that. Meal is also trash there is only veg not even eggs are there and during paneer days you literally hav to ask for each paneer piece every single time!! It's not worth it considering there are many great pgs outside which are way more affordable and spacious and having good food including chicken for non vegetarians

Admission

I applied to many central universities like jmi and amu but I got rejected :( I didn't study hard enough:( Admission process was smooth and they were always helping us during the process plus the Comedk cutoff is 25000 for CSE

Faculty

5

For every 60 students 1 faculty is there. The relationship between the faculties and students are good . I liked my chem ma'am Shweta N , maths ma'am Sreelakshmi TJ , Plc Ma'am Nayana ma'am and English sir Nanda Kishore Sir. The English sir is the definition of chill

Night Life

3

Gym is trash Cafeteria is okayish Hostel you have to be inside the campus at 8:30pm Boys curfew is till 11pm Girls' is till 8:30pm Which is wrong in so many ways. I mean they are not allowing any guy /girl to enter the campus after 8:30 and still girls can't roam in the campus. It's wrong in so many ways Famous hangout places are gallery, amphitheatre, uttam cafe, raj mess etc. Locality is descent . The campus is definitely safe at night but they don't allow girls to step outside hostel to roam the campus after 8:30 pm

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
