Course Curriculum Overview
Cirruclum is good. We have fixed classroom allocation. Wednesday is given for clubs and extra circular activities. The exam difficulty level is moderate. Evaluation is strict. Syallubs may be decreased and component of internals marks need to be decreased. Sports also may be increased.
Internships Opportunities
Many internship opportunities are available. Management will inform us about internships available we need to apply for those. Each student is requested to do at least one internship during their 2nd-year completion.
Placement Experience
All placement exams and interviews take place in the Coimbatore Amrita branch. Students are required to go to that place during their fourth year. We have almost 90%. More than 500 companies visit for placements. We have placement training in 3rd year. I am planning to go abroad after I complete 3rd in this university. We have a 3+1 year program in this university.
Fees and Financial Aid
In our college, the general fees is 4 lakhs per year excluding others. We have an entrance test, based on the marks scored by the students they give concessions. There are 3 slots of scholarships. If we are in the 1st slot fees will be 1 lakh, for the 2nd slot it is 2 lakh, for 3rd slot it is 3 lakh. Hostal and mess fees is 1 lakh. The building fund is 10,000. For days scholars' bus fees is 45,000.
Campus Life
The overall atmosphere is good. This university is different from others. Here we follow our traditional Sanatana Dharamas. It follows our Hinduism. A lot of clubs we have. Many innovation funding and highly advanced labs are available. Campus is NON AC it is a bit issue during Summer. Other than that all is good.
Admission
NIRF ranking is good compared to other universities and placement and packages are also good enough to join this college.To join Amrita we need to write the Amrita entrance examination and get a seat in the required branch. Fees are based in marks we got in the entrance exam. I applied for SRM, Vit but I got the best rank entrance rank in this university.
Faculty
The faculty and student ratio is 1: 50. Faculties are good and friendly with the students. Factly are from different states. Dr Venkata Ramesh sir because I like his way of explanation. Faculty use the latest technology for teaching and smart gadgets. I don't like my English faculty his language is too professional and not to understand by common students.
Night Life
As I was a day scholar. I have never stayed up late at night in college till now. For fests, it may happen. The bus will stay till 9 o'clock on the campus. The library and cafeteria are good. We have a food order facility at our college. But swiggy and Zomato are not available we have special apps like Honest and Total Fresh here.
