Course Curriculum Overview

I took admission into this course because of my interest in computer science leaving the option to pursue BTECH Biotech in NSUT. The currilum contains a lot of irrelevent subjects like EVS , Communication Skills etc

Class Size: 225Course Fees: INR 153000 per year

Placement Experience

There are almost 0 good placement opportunities more than 50% batch gets placed at 3.5-4lpa in mass recruiting companies like Infosys, TCS , Tech Mahindra. No Internship opportunities on campus but students secure good internships through of campus recruitments in various emerging fields like AI,ML,Blockchain.

Campus Life

This college conducts 2-3 fests a year , campus is small but fests are really good and organizing commitees also are very good. Accessiblity of books in libarary is very low. Libarary lacks Standard books of most subjects which are important for engineering adn tech. Books are of really old editions. You can issue book for 20 days

Admission

I applied to top 6 -7 colleges of GGSIPU for CSE and Uttarkhand goverment colleges for CSE. Left Uttarakhand's Goverment college due to lesser placement and internship opportunities as they are located in mountains they are not in proximity of any IT hub. Adgitm comes in top 5 college in GGSIPU and said to have good infra (although I am unable to see where it is)

Faculty

There are enough faculties present in college No class has more than 60 students Faculties are really helpful and supportive Course structure you can get on college website easily it's different for diffrent courses Only a few faculties here have a PHD

Night Life

Pls dont go anywhere in proimity of college college is located in Seelampur (a place in delhi infamous for snacthing, pickpokcets and road robberies using knives and blades and many other such activities). Inside college is completely safe college does not have a hostel so you will be living outside college only

From Classrooms to Campus ; my dtu journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

Walking you through ADGIPS

I applied to IPU counselling through JEE mains. I didn't have many options but I was getting HMR university, Echleon institute of technology, Guru teg Bahadur 4th centenary college, etc. I chose this college because among other IP colleges it has a better placement ratio and good environment and crowd. I wanted colleges like Maharaja agrasen institute of technology, maharaja surajmal institute of technology, bhartiya vidhyapeeth which comes on top of IPU rank list but due to my JEE rank was not able to get it but I'm still content with what I have. To get into my college u need to have a JEE rank around 4L for Tech branches and 6-7 L for other branches like Ece, Me etc. Admission experience was fine IPU delays the process alot but it was still manageable so overall fine...Read More

An okay choice if you want a GGSIPU govt. degree

I honestly didn't want to go to a private college , that was never my first choice even my last choice also but with my jee mains rank that was around one lakh ninety thousand I couldn't get any of the nits or some government college.The reason I chose this college because this college is affiliated to GGSIPU (guru gobind singh indraprastha university), so the degree is a government recognized one which can be valuable in the future.This was one of the main factor for me in the finalizing this college. The admission process was simple here, they accept the jee main score as eligibilty and the candidate need to go through the IPU counselling.I picked this college as it gave me the assurance of govt. university degree without a burden of extreme fee burden and also it is a god college to continue my studies....Read More
