Entrance Preview
UPTU entrance examination, score was not disclosed but my rank was 2563. With this rank I could have got HBTI Kanpur or IET Lucknow. But the majors they were offering didn't sound worth it for me. So looking for computer science as my majors I opted for JSS which was the best choice I had out of the options I had.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is competitive and in accordance with the course structure that all the undergraduate colleges in India have. But curriculum alone is not responsible for the over all development factors like faculty, infrastructure, exposure matters too. In that sort curriculum will be rated 4 out of 5 (believing 5 for bits/IIT) .
Internships Opportunities
No my college doesn't provide internship. Hence we had to look outside the college on our own for the same which was very trouble some.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities was decent enough. Will rate them 4.5. There was somewhere between 20-35 companies that came and 2 being the mass recruiters. Companies were of all the package range . Adobe being upper band and Cogent being lower band.
College Events
There are ample events starting from Introductory event (orientation program) of each society ranging from robotics to dance and mimicry. Though we have only technical fest but every year it's a fusion of both cultural and technical one. Then there events for freshers and last year students.
Campus Life
Campus life is as amazing as it should be. all the events are perfectly managed with college hours. extracurricular activities were abundant organised by aalpshika (education poor students) to Illuminati ( Drama group).
