Course Curriculum Overview

My dad forcefully sent me here. He wanted his daughter to become a architect. Yes they give a lot of assignments which prepares us for real world. The way the course is , is best for the students no improvement required.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee of sir jj college of architecture is 18000-19000.We sc students only have to pay 10000 per yr.We can apply for Mahadbt scholarship which aids educational expenses. Other reservation benefits can also be availed

Campus Life

We have no annual and technical fests in our college. We have a library in our college which consists of a variety of books and reference books. We have a sports fest . We ahe. Variety of clubs and teams in our college

Admission

No i didn't apply for any other colleges. This was my dream college so I took here admission. Students are required to clear JEE paper 2 to take admission in JJ college of architecture Mumbai. My admission experience was really smooth.

Faculty

We have a batch 80 students . We have 8 subjects in our curriculum. Each department has min 3-4 faculty. I like the way they are dedicated towards their teaching. We have 2 semesters in our 1 year curiculum.

Night Life

We have 2 canteens in our college with varied menu .We don't have a college hostel . We can enter college at 8:30 am and then gate is open till 8 pm. We have very safe college campus area . And the surrounding area around the college is also too safe

Placement Experience:

In VESCOA placement cell, its nice experience. There are lots of placement available last year. Students getting 100% of placement in college campus. My plan after getting the degree to exploring new building and visiting places.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation.There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Designing dreams at DYPCET

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.

You need to possess at least 50% marks in B.Arch from a recognized university, The student should have completed 21 years of age before applying for the master's program. The candidates who have a diploma in architecture are also eligible to apply. The admission is granted on the basis of scores obtained in MAH-M.Arch-CET examination. The application form can be filled by both the modes and you can pay the application fee of 800 and take out the printout of the application form after filling all the details.
