Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is very cohesive, comprehensive and relevant the only concern is that few of the subjects are more theory oriented than the practical stuff and the practicals are also very basic, only scratch the surface of the subject so if someone is genuinely interested in learning then they'll have to learn on their own

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship opportunities are good now that the college has started doing a bi yearly program called the internship mela in which various companies come for every branch and some even offer a good stipend to the students

Placement Experience

4

The campus placements are good as there are multiple companies that come for placement drives but the placement complety depends on how capable you are to get one. The college will get various opportunities for you but at the end it is on you

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees of 1 year is 1.4Lakh with a 7-8% increment every year. And in the first year there will be a 60k university fees as well but that would only be for the first year. Other than that there would be scholarship opportunities for girls,PWD and ews students

Campus Life

5

There are various clubs or societies in the college, around seven cultural societies that cover every aspect of art such as literature, public speaking, quizzing, poetry, singing, fine arts etc and technical and development societies as well

Admission

I got selected in various colleges like Punjab technical University and guru Gobind singh indraprastha University main campus dwarka Delhi but the reason I chose maharaja agrasen institute of technology over them was because it is the 2nd best college for mechanical engineering in IPU and it is closer than the main campus to me

Faculty

5

The faculty of mechanical and mechanical and automation dept is very helpful and kind and genuinely interested and very passionate about teaching. They are soft spoken and helpful with both academic as well as personal problems

Night Life

1

There is no nightlife around college as the college is in a very secluded and uncomfortable and bas area. The daytime is still fine but the nearest metro station is six kilometres away from the last stop of red line

Placement Experience:

Talking about NSUT, it is one of the best in terms of placement. Almost every company you may think of that costs IIT Delhi also visits NSUT. NSUT has a great placement stats in tech, non tech and in core as well. In tech , you may think of Amazon , Flipkart , google , Microsoft and all the big companies do visit the campus The eligibility for on campus placements purely depends upon the CGPA. So it is really important to maintain a good GPA throughout the course. Students become eligible for placements after the 6th sem only. To check the stats of the company visited and the offers made to each branch , you may visit the TNP website of our college NSUT. 80-90% students were placed from our college in the last placement session. For consultancy and non tech, companies like Deshaw, Bain, TCS,McKinsey etc do visit the campus. The highest package almost goes above a Crore per annum in most of the years , while the avg is around 10LPA, while the median is around 7-8LPA.

At DTU, placements may start from final year but placements are good. The main reason is almuni network as it has grown so rapidly in last few years. The kind of practical approach that our college has jobs are always available be in on campus or off campus.
