Course Curriculum Overview

3

Curriculum is focussing on real world applications as we have regular labs and workshops. Teachers also guide us throughout about the industry and future scope. Although 1st semester is pretty easy going due to common subjects. As I talked to my seniors they said syllabus is quite aligned with industrial requirements. They should really focus on practical learning rather than theory. Teachers are still focussing on theory more than the application and practical implementation.

Internships Opportunities

4

BPIT (Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology) provides students with numerous internship opportunities through its Training and Placement Cell, which maintains strong ties with industry leaders. Internship roles are typically offered in technical, managerial, and analytical domains. Some prominent companies that provide internships to BPIT students 1. Microsoft: Roles in software development with a focus on innovative projects related to Azure and AI. 2. Amazon: Internship opportunities as Software Development Engineers, working on scalable systems and solutions. 3. ZS Associates: Analytical roles focusing on business consulting and data solutions. 4. Byju’s: Roles in business development with a focus on EdTech solutions. Stipends and Projects: Internships often come with stipends ranging from ?10,000 to ?50,000 per month, depending on the company and role. Students are involved in live projects, including the development of web applications, mobile platforms, and cloud services. Outcomes often lead to better employability skills, professional experience, and even pre-placement offers. In addition to corporate internships, BPIT encourages participation in government and research-based projects through its Innovation and Incubation Center (IIC). Students collaborate on real-world challenges, further enhancing their practical knowledge.

Some go for freelancing and any other skill. Some are interested in Starting ups. After getting the degree I plan on getting the placement so that I can get experience in my initial time as it will further help me to switch job and increase in my package.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is somewhat around 1.5 lakh but for the first year you have to pay around Rs. 1,90,000 which includes tution fee, counselling fee (admission is possible through JEE Mains Score), books fee (books will be issued to you for each semester). That's all.

Admission

I applied for the colleges under JAC DELHI but I couldn't make it because of my JEE MAINS Rank which was 158319. I had IPU colleges as backup and I got the seat in BPIT and I locked it right away because I had no other options. If I compare it with other colleges, Infrastructure is a big no! Campus size is very small about 10-12 acres. With no proper gym and indoor games facilities. Also there is no Hostel facility for Boys. But hostels are available for Girls. Admission process is quite simple you'll have to apply for GGSIPU Counselling. Eligibility is you must have minimum 75% in 12th. And you're good to go with your JEE mains scorecard.

Faculty

3

Faculty to student ratio is decent. There are enough teachers. Teachers are quite approachable. You can approach them anytime. You can directly message or call them for sometime important. I really Seema Sharma Ma'am. She teaches Maths and since Maths is my favourite subject and she teaches it really well so I kindly of have a personal biasness. I don't think there is any faculty that I didn't like. There are 3 exams in each semester as of now. 2 Midsems and 1 Endsems. The exam level is moderate.

Night Life

4

BPIT's nightlife options are fairly modest, given its location in Rohini, Delhi, and the institution's focus on academics. Facilities Timings: Library: Open until 5 PM, offering a quiet study environment. Gym is part of the campus infrastructure. Cafeterias: Open during college hours, serving affordable meals and snacks. Public Areas: Campus gates typically close by 5-6 PM. Hostels and Campus Timings: Hostel: Only available for girls, with strict entry/exit timings for security. Boys typically rely on nearby PGs. Campus: Entry and exit are regulated, prioritizing safety. Hangout Spots: Inside Campus: Canteen and sports facilities (like basketball and cricket grounds) are popular for unwinding. Outside Campus: Nearby malls like Unity One, eateries, and cafes in Rohini offer leisure options. Locality Safety Rohini is relatively safe to roam at night, with adequate public l

Don't expect much from this college in terms of placement if you want to secure high paying job . No doubt companies do come for placement per does not offer much. And the companies that offer good package hoghers only 2-3 students . Recently i heard that Hiitachi came with only 4 vacancies and the applicants are above 150. you are eligible for the un campus placements from 4th year and the highest till now is around 16 lpa .

Placement offers are not that good, like if you're pursuing other courses than btech so the placement is good but in btech, tech companies don't come that often, so you have to develop your skills during your academics and apply offline for job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Currently what a job require and what we are being taught in the college, totally different. We have to study separately for preparing job because in our course curriculum, importance skills aren't taught and the frequency of exam throughout the year is too much. We don't get enough time for preparing jobs. We need less frequency of exams throughout the year so that we can prepare for a job.
