Some insights of IIT Dhanbad

The curriculum is very good in this college. The exams happens twice each semester first one is mid semester and second one is end semester Professor uses all digital tools like smart board and projecters for teaching and also they provide all study resources and can easily reachout them whenever in need or any querry. We can also contact them via WhatsApp . The improvement in the course as a first year student is classes should be less and relative marking should be removed.

There is vast opportunity of internship available in the college. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, Detollite, TATA, and many more The average stiped for a period of 2months is 1.5 lakhs given to intern .

From 7th semester student become eligible for campus placement but many of students get pre placement offers after their internship in 6th semester. Talking about number of companies visited might more then 50 or more then that i don't know much about that. Popular companies visited are Google, Microsoft, taxes Instruments, samsung, Reliance, vedanta, flipkart, Amazon, phonepe , Salesforce, Infosys, Tata motor, Mahindra, and many more. Talking about heighest package that is 1- 1.5 cr pa. And average package may be around 30 lakh. Now percentage of student placements is 70 percent. My plan is build and startup after getting degree

For ST category there is no tution fee we only need to pay our hostel and mess fees which sums total to be aroud 26000 per semester. But during my admission i paid 56000 in my monsoon semester and 26000 this winter semester. All fees like lab and others all included in this semester fees. Talking About scholarships One i know is NSP for st student by central government, which pays all the fees of semester and give stipend of 1200 every month. There are many more but i don't know in details about them.

Annual technical &management fest is Concetto which happens in the start of October, After that there is Techno Minig Fest Khanan which also happes in the month of October. The biggest fest of the college is Srijan which is the annual cultural fest of this college which happens in the month of February. The lecture halls has smart board and projector There is best sports facility. Student run up many clubs and NGO's

First year student stay in Amber hostel, second and third year in Aquamarine hostel and Fourth year in Jasper hostel. For girls thier is Old and New Rosaline Talking about my hostel two students share one room. Two seperate mess in 2nd and 3rd floor for veg and non veg students. Meal is quit good and at the last of every month there is a special dinner.

I have applied for IIT kharagpur, IIT Patna, IIT Bhuneswer, IIT Delhi, IIT Dhanbad , IIT Bombay Among this colleges i was getting confirmed admission in IIT Patna, IIT Dhanbad, IIT Bhumeswer, IIT Kharagpur. I choose this college over the colleges i was getting as in iit kharagpur i was getting lowest branch and other IIT Patna and IIT Bhuneswer I was not willing to go as of their ranking and placement. I choose IIT Dhanbad as it's near to my home and was getting a decent branch what i wanted. The admission in this college is through JEE Advanced and other entrance exams for my course is there in my college

The faculty to student ratio is 1: 13 and the faculty is very helpful and are highly qualified they make us understand every concept. Talking about exams , Here it is Quize 1, Mid sem, Quize 2, End sem Quizzes are easy they are of 10 marks Mid sem is quite tough and end sem is very tough. There is a system of relative marking in this college. That makes it quit competitive environment

About GYM i don't know as freshers are not allowed. Cafeteria of my Amber hostel opens at 4pm and closes at 3 am morning Main cafeteria is RD which opens 10 am morning amd closses 10 pm neight. Central Library opens at 9 am morning and 1,2,3 floor closes at 9 :30 pm but reading hall that is 4th floor closes at 11:45 pm Hostel timing is 12 pm neight College in timing is 10pm
