Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum includes industry relevant topics and that connects student to real world applications. The frequency of examination is moderate and the acadamic trainers or lecturers do their best. Teaching methods could be improved by involving the student evn more into the academics.
Internships Opportunities
Intership opportunities are excellent from the college side. They offer both national and international internships to students. Internships makes the students ready for their their upcoming jobs and supports them.
Placement Experience
7 and 8 th sem students are eligible for placement from campus. The companies visited are accentuate, DHL, Morae global, deloitte etc. The highest package is 15 lakh. On an average 90 percentage of students get placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Presidency university is a great palce to gain knowledge. Th fees structure for Bachelor of technology in any specifications is 1,07,000 from KCET examination. Along with this an additional 20,000 is paid by the student for college maintenance purpose. For students from sc/st the fees will only be 20000 from kcet examination regonised by the government of karnataka. SSP and NSP scholarship are available to the students to handle their financial problems.
Campus Life
There are many clubs tht students can join and enjoy. Many fests and activities are conducted by college on regular basis. Sports and extracurricular activities are highly encouraged by the staffs. Every classrooms are equipped with essential technical support to make learning easier.
Admission
I applied to many other engineering colleges like bms, rv, dayanandh sagar, etc. According to my ranking i got admission at presidency university. The admission procedure was to join the college from kcet examination. Eligibility of 10+2 in science field. Exams accepted are kcet comedk and many more.the admission procedure was smooth without any difficulty.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 1 :60. The relationship between faculty and student is highly interactive. This ensures the students gains complete knowledge about the course. As a first year student i like my cc mahata mam because she motivates us to build skills and also to participate in various activities. There are 2 exams for a sem that is mid term and end term. The exam will be average and almost every student try to clear it.
Night Life
The university is well infrastructured with gym libraries lawn clubs and hostel for students. Presidency university hostel is available for students. The college timing is 8 50 to 4 20 .some hangout places are cafeteria, lawn, clubs to learn new concepts etc.
