What Students Say
Likes
- the infrastructure is good enough to make you marvel on it
- the curriculum at dsu is industry focused and updated regularly .Professors are knowledgeable and approachable
- DSU celebrates diversity with students from different parts of india and even abroad .this has enriched my college experience . Cultural fests like 'Daisy' and technical events offer great opportunities to showcase talents and networks with peers.
Dislikes
- the food cafeteria is very inconvenient to access as it is very far form the classrooms
- some events that are to being held will be held during your class hours hence being unable to attend
- while the quality of education and infrastructure is excellent ,the fees can feel on the expensive side .the annual increase in fees, typically around 5-8% , add to the financial burden . scholarships are available , but not everyone qualifies .
Course Curriculum Overview
it does provide good amount of classes to us but the amount of unnessary subjects taken can be a questionable move by the college as some subjects not just deviates from engineering as a whole as those subjects are languages and environmental classes.
Internships Opportunities
IBM , Autodesk , bosch , VMware , nvidia , and intel are just some of the many companioes that are coming up with training centres in dsu that helps the students in receiving hands on training by industry experts guiding .
Placement Experience
the placement for this college starts in your 3th year but this college also has a club that if you join you will be trained for industry level skills and given oppurtunities for internship by second year depending on your performance the club would cost you an amount of rs1000 as of now yearly
Fees and Financial Aid
AS a student at dayananda sagar university ,bangalore,i'd like to share an honest review of the fee structure and scholarship oppurtunities here .the annual tuition fees for most uundergraduate programs like engineering range from 2.5lakhs to 4lakhs per annum .the total cost ofr a 4 year program comes to about 8lakhs to 12 lakhs depending on ther specialization. one thiong to note is that the fees increase slightly every year ,usually by about 5-6% which can can feel steep but is justified by the infrastructure upgrades and the quality of education provided
Campus Life
the sports infrastructure is very impressive but the club activities are very bland as you will miss out on a lot of classes if you end up participating in the club activities the campus is overall very decent
Admission
the college was recommended by a friend to me as he was already studying in the college and i also chose this college because i knew before hand about all the minor details and the things happening in the college
Faculty
as per my experience some faculty members are very friendly as long as you listen to them and are at your best behavious while some teacher are ignorant of what is happening and will not care about what you are doing especially regarding attendance so be mindful of your behaviour in class and attend the classes
Night Life
bland very bad is what i would say as there is nothing near the college and if you stay in the hostel you cannot possible even go out at night because you will need a pass for it and those staying outside of the hostel nothing is avaible at night leave aside clubs you have nothing but barren land .
