Remarks

Gud college. The college is one of the best colleges in kollam. The faculties are careable and helpful. We have freedom in our college and the winning percentage is also high. Extra curricular activities are also enhanced.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses in our college electrical, mechanical, computer, electronics. Each semester consists of 2 exams in which we had to pass the examination to get the internal marks. The internal marks required for each subject is 30 and in university exam we had to score 45.

Placement Experience

There are placements cells in our college. They provide job opportunities. The college doesn't provide internships.. The main companies such as infosys, wipro, pt solutions, etc.... The college will provide bus facilities for placements..

College Events

The first event that occurs is the election after the election there is union inauguration. After that there is onam celebration and Christmas celebrations. Then there is sports. After this event there is arts festival and tech festival after there is a sent off given to the last year students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. There is 3 types of seats available in this college. First type is the merit seat which is available only through entrance exam. 2nd type is the management seat that is also available through entrance exam and the 3rd seat is by nri quota.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship are offered to students according to their merit base. So many scholarships are given to students based on the caste and economically backwards class etc. This is a help to the students who are economically backward class.

Campus Life

The extracurricular activities are good. The teachers not only cares on studies but also on extracurricular activities. To help them the event such as sports and arts are celebrated.. In that the students can perform their best.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are available. The hostel are located near the college so that the college faculty can have an eye on students. The hostel are clean and safe.. There are so many hostels near the college.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni is done from last year. It is good so that the friends can meet up once again in the college in which they could share their old memories . By conducting such alumini we could see our friends situation if he is down we could help them..

Good behaviour. They are caring they would try to help us. The portions will be completed at current time. If we had any doubts we can approach the faculty and they would clear it.. All the faculty in our college have helping behaviour.

The placement will be available from 6th semester onwards. Companies in techno park are mostly coming for placement in our collage. The average lpa is 2 and highest is like 10. Around 60% are getting placed. My plans is that for the time being if I get a placement i will for it and study extra with that job

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students.The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided.
