Course Curriculum Overview

4

We have two semesters in a year. Each semester have one Mid Term exam before the End Semester exams. Being a B.des student, we have less classes and portions to study so it doesn't matter. The curriculum is well planned.

Internships Opportunities

3

The college provides good internship opportunities but for confirming it we do have to work hard and score a good CGP from our side. No colleges provide 100% placements. It depends on our hardwork and talent for getting placed in good companies.

Placement Experience

4

Studying and getting graduated from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham allows you good placements with a good knowledge about your course. My seniors got well placed in huge companies with a good salary and I'm happy about it.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee is about 1,00,000 INR. The caution deposit is 3000. The admission fees is 500. We have 2 semester exams each year. Each semester costs 49,000 INR. If your department is having some events, you have to pay below 500 INR. The amount may vary according to the strength of the class.

Campus Life

3

The campus life may feel boring because of the religious events and things like that. We have good libraries for reference. We do have good labs too. But we lack a ground for sports events. We have social activity clubs and many more clubs.

Admission

As I'm a son from a middle class family, I can't suggest my parents for costly colleges. When I started researching about it I got Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and when I saw the fee structure, I was so happy that I get good placements in less expensive fees.

Faculty

3

As a B.des student, we get good classes by well trained faculties with years of work experience. The events we have are so lucky to get because other department students doesn't get the events like us.

Interview Experience

4

As a design student, I had an online interview. The faculties who interviewed me asked me to showcase my talents and skills by showing them my portfolio. They also asked me to send a softcopy of it to them.

Night Life

3

The night life is better inside the campus. The security guards are so well behaving and we can go get help from them at any time. We don't have gym facilities but we do have good canteens for both boys and girls.

Other Applied Colleges

National Institute of Fashion Technology - [NIFT] | Bachelor of Design [B.Des] (Fashion Design)

My parents were concerned because of the travelling distance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course not because of curriculum. The syllabus is very bad and it doesn't really help to apply in real-world situations.I suggest that the practical exposure must be needed and give chances for students to apply in internships. The timing of exam actually stressed alot in even semesters due to shortage in classes. The faculty rushes to take class and also gives a load of work when the exam is near.

Our syllabus and curriculum was easy to moderate in the first year. And in the final year it changes to moderate to difficult. More of the questions are direct questions and some questions related to organic chemistry is in application level.

The placement of our collage are better as our collage has less student which gives a relax mindset to the mamangnment that not many people are left to place. In our collage gurls get placed in first year itself as the act of SYNERGY girls recruitment. For boys as well. Many good companies enroll in this collage.
