Course Curriculum Overview

4

Its all about the satisfaction you get when you gotthe chance to wipe the tears of others.. Curriculum is Good but Private colleges should make them affordable so that everyone learns and also be grateful for their institution and also to the society University conduts exams once in a year usually at the time of December or January.. Its not as easy..it is difficult and this phase each and every medical student has to face..

Internships Opportunities

3

We will have 1 year of internship and coming to the stipend its less compared to the govt medicals colleges and the minimum amount prescribed by the govt of karnataka.. It would be better if they increase our stipends..

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly for Govt students it costs same as other govt seats in private colleges i.e 144000 PA Private category seat costs 12LK PA.. College fees for our batch is 45000 and now it's increased to 50000.. 5 yrs you have to pay the same fees which is fixed during your admission but 5th year u should pay half of your college fee..

Campus Life

4

We will celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi to Kannada rajyotsava and even Onam, holi and many more festivals.. Academically we will be having CME 'S conducted for 2 to 3 months once by different departments.. There will be guest lecturers for PG'S.. Extracurricular activities like RGUHS sports participations is quite good..

Admission

I got selected through NEET UG exam and i applied for other colleges like Akash and Vydehi and Subbaiah medical college and i got eligibility for every college that i opted above except Vydehi as score is less by 4 to 6 marks.. I chose as this is very near to my home town and this college got recognition at an early time period of starting the college in 2014..

Faculty

4

Coming to faculties they are really Experts and always available to clear your doubts.. Teachers and even our college is very strict about academics.. I Can't who are best as everyone is excellent in their own fields.. No is dare to tell the faculty that he or she dont like ???? There will be 3 internal in each academic year.. Those are moderately difficult..Many will fail in their first internals ( Including Me ???? ) Curriculum is strictly followed as stated by the NMC. Course is 4 1/2 plus 1 year internship

Night Life

4

Gym is also available in college hostel for which you have to pay some basic amount.. A new cafeteria is under construction Library is improved a lot in infrastructure but quantity of books should be increased and should update old ones with the latest versions of those.. I'm not a hostel students but it will depended on college timings.. College starts at 8.30 AM and ends at 4 PM..afternoon you will be getting one hour free time for having launch.. Hangout is place is very famous in our college..its named "Bhodhivruksha" many students will sit and chit chat and have their launch during free tme.. Locally its safe in campus but not outside..

It's a very good curriculum as we have both book knowledge and practical knowledge at same time as we have to go hospital in morning to see cases qnd at evening to learn about it. There is no such improvement is required. We don't have to give soo much exam but the syllabus we have to cover its not much

Course Curriculum Overview:

Same curriculum as the NMC is followed . In the beginning ears there wont be much exposure clinically like any other hospitals later on in 3rd amd 4th year there is more clinical exposure and patient interaction. According to me the exam level of 1st year is a bit tough as it is a changing phase from 12th to college and everything is new later on we get adjusted and find it easy and will understand how to phase the exam and how it is different from the previous exams of 11th or 12th . Only one exam will be for a academic year which includes the whole syllabus of that year
