NMIMS Hyderabad, a campus that's on its way

The course curriculum includes a lot of research papers to deal with, along with the bare acts and the plain law itself. Hence it helps give a wider and a details analysis of a particular topic for the students to get a clearer understanding of the same. And the exam paper is mostly application based which helps the student to write an answer as per his/her analysis rather than a particular answer that they require which prevents the system of typical indian students "by the heart" method.

There are many boutique firms and big firms that offer internships such as Thomas George & Associates, LKS, Tempus, Tatva legal, samvad & partners etc that provide internships in different parts of the country.

Placement for the MBA and B pharma course in NMIMS Hyderabad campus is excellent although for law since only one batch has graduated so far the placement offers have been a bit slow. However the placement committee has done an excellent job everytime during student internship process. There are tier 1 firms that are also currently recruiting nmims students. The only issue is the location of the campus which makes assessment internships difficult. But that issue is temporarily fixed by having the final year students take their classes in the hyderabad city campus to make it easier for them to have an internship and still attend classes

General overall academic fee as per their intimation initially is 96,000 per annum for tbe course fee but after two years they increased it to 105,000 per annum and there are chances it might increase more after a couple more years. There are no particular scholarships as such that my peers and i have availed. The fee structure remains the same for everyone

The campus life is pretty minimal. There are many clubs and committees to keep the students and the faculties enganged so it doesnt get boring or lonely. Theres also sports facilities, game rooms, gym rooms, tv rooms which keep people occupied at all times. Almost every festival is celebrated and there are events going on (however small) which helps people relax after a long week. The library is stocked enough with every book from the course curriculum and theyre still getting more.

The hostel of NMIMS is sometimes the reason why students join this college since it's very well equipped and very beautifully made. Although the hostel fee is twice that of the course fee it is worth it and the food quality is much better than any hostel food. The enitire college is however vegetarian. There is also an option to be a day scholar by taking a flat near the campus.

9thI got an admission to every college that i applied to except i chose NMIMS Hyderabad since i am from Hyderabad and in Hyderabad NMIMS is considered one of the best colleges due to its infrastructure and reach. To get an admission in NMIMS School of Law, one can either give the Common Law Admission Test CLAT/NLAT( which is specific for NMIMS) / LSAT.

The faculty is pretty equipped with the right skills and material to provide to the students and the course curriculum is ample and covers everything there needs to be covered. The exam pattern is also very similar to how ever other law school conducts their exams and i believe that is how it should be. The recent shift from writing Research papers for Internal assessment to writing mid terms has actually helped the students stay active and learn better instead of only writing one exam towards the end of the semester.

The hsotek doors close by 10.30pm so until then theres a food truck and an option to go out of the campus between 4pm to 8pm but after 10.30pm within the hostel there are game rooms tv rooms and gym available thats open all the time and a store for students to get their snacks from if they require apart from the food provided by the cafeteria.
