NMIMS Hyderabad honest review

Mordern approach towards teaching, we are being taught very relevant things which we would be needing to find a job or build our own business like communication skills, professional ethics, design thinking(for entepreneurial skills) most of out course is practical based and only 20-30% is thoery based. The frequency of exams is sufficient.

Currently no internship cause STME has only been till 5th semester, internships will come next year. However for mba companies like oxane partners, droom, salesforce, wells fargo, intel, hsbc have came, so we are expecting good companies for ourselves also as NMIMS is a very big brand.

STME (School of Technology Management and Engineering) started in 2022, since we are the third batch so we only have seniors till 3rd year so no placements till now, however as per my knowledge our placements will happen through MPSTME Mumbai.

The registeration fees for non cet round is 2000 rupees The anual tution fees is ?2,02,000 per year so total fees sits at ?8,08,000 You have ti do a refundable security deposit of ?10,000 which you will be refunded by end of the course

The campus life is awesome, there is great social interactions with guests visiting often, infrastructure is awesome, club involvement is also great. Since i am in first year i dont know about much events, however we are having an event named pankhida for this Navratri. And our tech fest might be conducted next year. The range and accessibility of books and journals is there in the library with the central library building being constructed. All classrooms are smartboard equipped and all the hardware is mordern and up to date. Our sports facility is being built which is very big, currently we use the sports facility of SVKM school which is inside our NMIMS campus. CodeIT, CyberOwls, E-cell, Sankalp, Tarang, Impulse are few of the clubs of STME.

Very good hostel. Everyone has there own bed with storage, side table, wardrobe, bookshelf, table and drawers. Room is air conditioned and wifi router is also present. Very good food. Hostel is ?2,25,000 per year with a ?10,000 refundable security deposit in first year, to register visit svkm portal. It is a on campus hostel

I applied to MIT, MIT-WPU, MIT-ADTU, VIT, BITS I got admission in MIT WPU and ADTU but they dont have enough recognition, and in MIT i didnt go as its fees was more than my hostel+tution combined, BITS i didn't have pcm aggregate of 75+ and VIT i couldnt clear You can get admission here with either NMIMS-CET or through NON-CET round i.e direct admission (they might close direct admission from 2025 batch onwards)

The faculty to student ratio is 1:6 (i.e no. Of our faculty divided by students of my class). Out of my 10 faculty 1 is not very good, 1 is strict but all over very good, other 8 are great. In a semester there are 2 mid term test and one term end test. Course is very relevant to the curriculum. Very few students fail in exams, not happend in my class till now
