What Students Say

Likes

The most appreciative thing about this college is the way resources are provided regarding academics and the push given by teachers for learning concepts.
The clubs and committees made by the college are very active and motivate other people to participate in events.
The infrastructure of the college ranging from the classes to the library are very classy and beautiful.

Dislikes

The lack of sports events in the campus.
The canteen facility is not up to the mark.
The lift facility is not proper and up to the mark.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is vast but makes u very well-versed the real life world and helps you in excel in your career.But the only thing the course need improvement is the timings given to the lectures.

Internships Opportunities

The college provides internships with companies and NGOs with a minimum stipend of Rs.2000 They also provide various other internships for students through collaborations with various other companies and organizations.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am paying Rs.144,000 per annum for B.com(Hons). During the admission process, I paid Rs.2000 for the Entrance exam registration from the general category. No such additional fees were paid for the admission process. All my batchmates paid the same amount paid by me. There are EMI options available for of payment of fees. Admissions are strictly based on the entrance exam conducted.

Campus Life

The college conducts seminars, skits, podcasts, dance events, singing events. The library has an access to vast amount of books and textbooks. the computer labs are well advanced. there are student clubs like organizing, cultural, sports, public relations, marketing,etc.

Admission

I applied for B.Com at GITAM University and NMIMS Hyderabad. I chose NMIMS due to its world-class reputation and the detailed curriculum of the course I opted for and i chose this university due its amazing placements as well.

Faculty

The faculty of the college shares a very respectful and beautiful bond with the students and the approachability of the faculty is up to the mark. The professors are very supportive and are very well-versed in the subject they teach.

Harsh reality of a college student

Placements of my college promises for big companies but there very few companies came with not a satisfactory salary package.As it only offers with an average salary or 350000. And they do not tell how to present ourself for placement interview.

Students because eligible for the campus placements from final year that is 5-6 semester. The companies visited college for placements are EY, Deloitte, ADP, Sutherland, Accenture, sagility, JP Morgan organ, Genpact ect. Companies minimise package offered to the students is 2LPA and maximum about 5-6LPAm. The students getting placements is above 65% but placements are given on the basis on everything including the performance in interview process etc. Some Students are planning do there higher education in states and other are planning to to jobs .

NMIMS Hyderabad honest review
