Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose Bcom Honours to get ready for the future employment and training .I spoke to a career counselor who advised this course to me The curriculum prepares me very well as it contains every part of management which is done in employment. The teaching method can be changed alot ,but the course curriculum can be made more practical as similar to the workplace. The timing and frequency of exams is good ,every semester exam comes in 4-6 months

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees I pay is on a semester basis ,one semester costs about 30K but there is no scholarships or no future placements. My batchmates has to pay more than me because they are graduating in B.Com computer applications and B.Com General. This college clearly says there is no scholarship just before we get admitted in this college

Campus Life

1

There is no festival celebration in our college except 15th of August or 26th of January The library only features books which comes in our courses and nothing else ,the library is not equipped with new age technology and also doesn't have anything to read except our academic books There is no sports or extra curricular activities in our college ,there is no arena no playground There is no student run social groups as the college doesn't encourage students to have a say in the college management affairs

Admission

I applied to many colleges, hoping to get into a great one, but things didn’t go as planned. I ended up choosing my current college, not because I loved it, but because I didn’t have many other choices. While it has a few good points, there are many things I don’t like about it. Colleges I Applied To I applied to XYZ College, ABC University, and DEF Institute, along with my current college. I got accepted to ABC University and my current college, but XYZ College and DEF Institute rejected me. Why I Chose My College I chose my current college mainly because it was cheaper and closer to home. However, it wasn’t my first choice. ABC University was much better in terms of reputation, facilities, and opportunities, but its high fees made it hard for my family to afford. Honestly, my current college feels like a compromise. The campus is small, the library isn’t great, and there aren’t many extracurricular activities. The placement opportunities are also limited because very few big companies visit the college. I often think I should have worked harder to go to a better college like ABC University. I didn't face any Rejection as I was eligible in most of the colleges Admission Process of My College The admission process at my college was simple but not very impressive. Eligibility: A minimum of 60% in the previous exams. The low cutoff made it feel like the college isn’t very competitive. Exams Accepted: The college accepts several entrance exams, but most students apply through Exam A. The cutoff for my course was quite low, which made it easy to get in. Experience: The process was smooth, but it did

Faculty

1

The faculty to student relationship feels like a tyrant and a slave relationship, The teachers make their students do the things which are not needed . The teachers can not be approached as they travel back within the college timings, and their is no outside contact (except with one or two selected students) Name of the faculties I liked is Mrs Anusha ,Mrs Zainab, Mrs Mubeen, Mrs Krishna Kumari,Mrs Asra,Mr Yaaseen,Mr Aqeel. I like them all for their approachable and friendly behaviour with their students. The faculties I don't like is The principal Mr Chary he is very egoistic and can change the whole college's timings just to fit in his timings Mr Kalyan he's very self obsessed and makes his own enemies and friends and continue it Mrs Aditya she's like a jailer to the prisoners The way she approaches the classroom and students is pathetic and intolerable. There is internal and external examinations and only the select students get passed ,the current fail/pass ratio is 3:1

Night Life

1

The college is closed at 4 pm IST and there is no nightlife or even a daylife as students only study during the time of classes and get relieved at 2 pm IST to get to their homes . College doesn't have a canteen library or a famous hangout spot

Placement Experience:

We have placements and some good companies come in to hire freshers. From 3rd semester students get eligible for internships and in 5th sem you're eligible for placements if you have no backlog and attendance percentage of 75%. Companies such as Deloitte, PWC, Amazon and many companies have visited our campus for placements. Highest package was 7.5 lac which was for marketing. My plans after degree are to work for a year in a good firm and then go for MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was a science student before and I don't want to continue with my BTech or any other courses or I didn't wanted to continue in science so my brother suggestion me to choose BCom computer applications which could be very helpful in future. Currently I am pursuing B.com computer application and also preparing for some competitive exams so I think if I won't be able to clear community exams I will still be able to get my degree and get a job with 10 lakh per annum job. No need of any improvements in the course but I still want the faculty is to be more good with the students and teach each and everything a student can use in his or her life

There are placements prvided by our college. They claim to give 98 percent placements but the process is a bit hard. So there are 2 exams of aptitude conducted by college before we can even get in. So after we pass both the exams we will be trained and sent for interviews.
