Likes

managment and attentive faculty they help you throughout your academic
campus Life is good and have multiple sports and cultural options

Dislikes

they dont have proper hostels for students comming from other states or region
mess food is pathetic and highly not recommended

Course Curriculum Overview

courses like bms are highly recommend as they have huge opening in current scenario there are some points where they need to upgrade are digital education on top and few mock exams for better prepration

Internships Opportunities

there are multiple companies providing internship program for students, few media house are most active to hire intern and provide them good experience with their programs. few of them are local media also

Placement Experience

there are multiple placement opportunities in mumbai University, there are almost all corporate giants for placement and with good package, if it's about placement you don't have to worry. this is the best place

Fees and Financial Aid

i paid fee of rs 50000 for a year that includes all fee, there are reservation for SC ST and also have a good scholarship program for bright students and reservation students, there are multiple programs for scholarship like ABC for minorities

Campus Life

overall experience with campus is 100/10 , this will be the best days of your life. with best grounds and other infrastructure classroom are totally digital but not functional in some classrooms. there are multiple social groups

Admission

i applied for thakur collage and ruia collage but due to my working profile I was not allowed to do both at same time thats the main reason I choose this as my collage. you can apply online as well as offline for these colleges

Faculty

faculty are good and there are well experienced faculty to tackle your problems the ratio is like 1 faculty for 50 students. professor chauhan is the best and humble out of all he is always there to help you. there are some faculty who work only for their salary they don't have anything to do what students lack. there are 2 sem in a year mid and end sem for all courses

Night Life

being in mumbai night life is best over here as univercity is in heart of city and provides you ample place to hangout for night. hostel and campus have 24×7 access you can find marine drive and other major sites just nearby

The placement of college is very good the college tries to bring all the reputable companies to college for placements 1. students become eligible for placement from 4th semester 2. Companies visited were big 4 ( KPMG,ymc, Deloitte and ey), Deutsch bank, decathlon etc 3. offerings per company(kpmg-1)(ey-1)(ymc-1)(Deloitte- 3) etc Highest package was of 8.9 lakhs and average package is of 5 lakhs 4. 60 to 70% of students gets placed from college 5. Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester. But they should not have any backlogs and should maintain a minimum of 60% academic performance and minimum 75% attendance. The common companies visited are - HDFC bank, ICICI bank, Kotak Mahindra bank, Axis bank, Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, Flipkart, Google, Godrej, The highest package overall was 51.36lpa for msc blockchain technology. In my course the highest package was 12-15lpa and average package is 6-7 lpa for new graduates. 85-90% students get placed and rest opt for higher studies. After getting the degree I would pursue MBA in USA or UK.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the transfer program of this college is pretty good as it elects around 40 students across the campus or if you want to go you can pay but it has collaborations with teesside university in uk and also offers a pretty reasonable cost to go there for one semester in the second ot tge third year

My university review

I did not appear or I can say I did not get an admission into any other college as per I was working in some institution and I need it to do my degree in a distance learning process so that's the reason I did not up for any other colleges and I did not get any rejection from the any other colleges which I can say there is no such eligibility or any entrance examination which you have to pass it's just because it's I can say that it's a learning institution and that also distance learning so the criteria stays that you just give your 12th examination and you just comment for yourself and it is a very easy form process which is very easily done by the students so they don't have any issues regarding it...Read More
