Course Curriculum Overview
I've written only few entrance exams, one of which was comedk. I didn't perform well in my jee so decided to take a college through comedk as I wanted to stay in Bangalore as it is a it hub. Seniors told me that it's a decent college which I can opt for.
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies visiting our college. Visa was the company which offered the highest package of 41lpa and there are many internships available. Many workshops are being held on a regular basis.
Placement Experience
As far as I've heard from the seniors you will be getting to sit for internships in your 3rd semesters provided you've no backlogs and have decent cgpa . The average package of our college is somewhere near 5lpa and highest is 41lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
2,83,000 paid at Comedk, 28,000 paid at college for skill lab fees and 4,000 paid at college for uniform and books fee. There was no scholarships available for students outside of Karnataka. Kcet students have less fees compared to comedk also they have some scholarships as well as some lesser fee for skill lab fees even coming through comedk.
Campus Life
There are not many fests or any events. But there is a kannada rajatosava and a event called pantheon. The events are not organised very well. In the library only course related books are available. There are many clubs and societies available in the college but getting into it is a hassle , you've to be pro at it ( no scope for beginners).
Admission
I've only applied for comedk counselling and didn't opt for any other counselling as I didn't scored well in other entrance exams. Comedk exam is very easy and you can score very well in it if you study basic pcm.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good. Some teachers are very good but with some you've to be careful and be ready with your works to be submitted also with attendance. There are plenty of exams coming up each month but it's easy to score in them.
Night Life
The cafeteria is very good and there is a gym which is very crowded. Library is the best thing about the college. Hostel timings are 7pm you should be in. There are plenty of cafes around the college.
