Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is balanced between theory and practicals, ensuring core topics for industry and academia. However, its emphasis on projects and problem-solving brings real-world skills while some areas need to match changing tech trends. Exams appear to be fairly tough but too frequently stressful. Perhaps the teaching methods should be more hands-on in interactive aspects rather than lecturing for better engagement.

Internships Opportunities

3

Not get any internship yet so , college brings companies only for cs and exe student's mainly other bravnht rarely get internship from this collegee Nation with Namo Amadon Google Microsoft Has offerf internship and offers a good stipend around 1lakh

Placement Experience

3

The college's placements are average, and eligible students start from the 7th semester. Companies such as TCS, Wipro, and Infosys come for IT and consulting jobs. The highest offer goes up to 400 LPA, while the average is about 8-9 LPA. This year, the placement rate is not that great, and opportunities are minimal. More diversified companies and active alumni network would have enhanced the outcomes.

Fees and Financial Aid

For odd semester ST /SC: Students pay Rs 4500/- For even Semester ST/SC : Students pay Rs 5200/- And others for odd semester pays Rs 54000/ and For even Semester pays Rs 60000/ Students can apply for NSP scholarship and state wise diffrent scholarship

Campus Life

4

Campus life has been enjoyable and enriching. Annual festivals like TCF CORONA AND MELANGE (January) and (March) INTRAMURAL add excitement, while clubs like Vista Photography, where I served as president, foster creativity. The library offers a decent range of resources, but updates are needed. Classrooms are equipped with basic tech, and sports facilities are satisfactory, encouraging extracurricular participation. Student groups greatly enhance camaraderie and skills.

Hostel Facilities

3

One bed one table one fan one almirah and room is always two Sharig in each year and no hot water in winter's Alternatively non veg will given in mess and mess is combined with hostel Not the area where you rent pg or flat

Admission

To be honest I didn't get the college I want and I got that , I applied for many college but the college I want was MANIT BHOPAL, huge campus, near to my home and many other things , No I don't get rejection I got NIT PATNA in JOSSA. Counselling, Come to college and submit required documents for admission

Faculty

3

College faculty members aree too good and welll qualified faculty members and most of faculty members comes under 2% scientistal all over the world Akshay Deepak sir and prabhat sir are the best faculties for me All faculties are very helpful you can go to them anytime Mid sem and end sem in each semester , rarely students got failed in exams

Interview Experience

4

No , there was not any written test or interview for the admission conducted . Admission process was ok the basis of (Joint Entrance Examination) JEE main rank and through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) . In JOSAA seats are allocated and through this I got NIT patna and after this I have to submit official documents like marksheet of 10th , 12th , adhaar card , school leaving certificate. If you have gap in class 12 and jee exam then you also have to submit gap year document. There is also need of some documents from court with the signature of tehsildaar and some medical certificate that makes you fit

Night Life

3

Nightlife within the campus is minimal because the hostels close at 10:30 PM for boys and 9:00 PM for girls. Library and gym close early too, resulting in a limited scope for after dark activities. The campus canteen and local cafes like Chai Point are popular hangout spots. Areas like Maurya Lok outside are lively, but caution is needed at night. Restrictions make the locality more restrictive and quieter in terms of social life.

The current scenario of placements are not quite good . But in electrical engineering it is a little good .Previously except 2-3 students all students were placed successfully from our department. One best thing about NIT-Patna's placement is that it doesn't allows companies to aquire students who offers a placement of less than 6 lakh.
