- The best thing about is the college is it's location.
- Faculty is also good and placement cell is also good. Extra curricular activities like fest and sports are also excellent.
- Compare to other private colleges in Patna it's fest and cultural events are far better than others
Dislikes
- Campus size, You will get a small building where you have parking issue also class size issue.
- Due to small campus classes run in two shifts.
- There is lack in Competitive environment. It may depend on batches
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum are well designed, but in my opinion it is old and I think this is not college fault, they have to follow UGC guidline. That make the curriculum look old, but faculties will ready to answer any questions according to there fields.
Internships Opportunities
Amity University patna will defentily provide a internship oppurnity to along with workshop and so on. If you are able to crack internship of top notch company Amity will provide the opportunity to you. Amity will give you internship in patna if you not able to get any internship in good college.
Placement Experience
Placement cell excellent in there job they are able to bring more 50 company to visit campus offline. And more than 100 company online. But In my opinion Company that visits Amity University doesn't give proper placement offer for Btech students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Semester fee at starting of the course is 78000 after that semester fee will increase at 4% per semester. There is also a security money of 20000. Also semester fee for btech or any other department increases every year.
Campus Life
There any many annual events happen in college and they occur more than 4-5 times a month and there is 1 major event happen in every month. Some name of events are: Sangathan, Techphelia, Amiphoria, Film festival, Carnival and etc these are major event and other events like women day, Durga Puja event, diwali, engineer's day, national film day,.. these are also held in college. All these events are manage by different departments and clubs.
Admission
I my opinion if you want any best college in Patna Amity University is best for you. At my time of addmission there were COVID lockdown, so I choosed Amity University Patna otherwise I will looking for college outside my home state. I choosed Amity University as it was a brand also it has best environments compared to any private college in Patna. I think If Bits mesra, Patna is of same level to Amity University also compared to campus size bit Patna is good but fees will be much higher than Amity University
Faculty
Faculty are sufficient for every batch. Faculties are very good for the relationship with students. I think evey staff is supportive here. Every faculty are highly educated majority of them are PhD holder. There are no any reason to hate any facilities especially in my department i.e Btech. Exam are divided into two part Mid term and End term. Mid term holds 10 marks whereas end term hold approx 40 marks(not disclosed, may be wrong). As i mentioned faculty are very supportive they will help you in exam, especially in mid term and the subject which are given least valued by students.
Interview Experience
There is interview and group discussion for the admission in college but I think it is for formalities as they didn't ask any hard questions in interview. In interview they may ask Newtown law, sin cos values, Some most used math or physics formula and Very basic questions. There is no any Group Discussion. If it may happen in future they will give you very easy questions. (Insight: If you don't want to give Interview, contact Admission Department)
Night Life
As i campus size is small so there is no hostel facility in college itself. College provide hostel but it is out of campus. it is in poreche area of Patna no need to worry of night life you will get best night life here. There are multiple hangout places around college also you are not in college campus so you are free to move in city.
