Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriculum are updated to modern trends in the market though there are many area that are needed to be improved. Professors works a lot on the communication skills of the students by giving regular presentations and projects. I think university should also focus on sports and appoint better psychology professor who can take more practical approach than just theory. Exams are regular and there are many exams throughout the semesters like many presentations, class test, mid-term and then final semester exams. While difficulty level of most papers are average and also you cannot give exams if you have less attandence in a subject.

Internships Opportunities

0.5

As I mention before there are almost zero internship opportunity for BBA students plus 2-3 those who got from college are girls who did internship in college itself. We need to search for internship ourself as internship is complusory for both growth and academics. Professors do guide and help us in getting and searching for opportunity for internships.

Placement Experience

0.5

From 5th semester one can seat for pacements but the problem is there are very rare company that come to this college for BBA students most companies come for MBA not BBA. Also there were almost no internship opportunity from college side we have to search for internship ourself. After degree you need to do MBA for getting job in most corporate. BBA is not getting the value it should get even from colleges itself.

Fees and Financial Aid

Difinitely it is high-priced compared to other colleges also placements are not super great as they claimed so, it is undoubtly high priced. They are charging around 5-6 Lakh for BBA program there are no hidden charges and you can easily pay using its website. They do have some scholarship tests and also provide some financial aid according to the marks scored by respective students.

Campus Life

3

Amiphoria is the college fest everyone waits for. It is a 3 day celebration including different outdoors and indoors game, music festivals and party which is celebrated on a ground which is far from college as Amity Patna do not have any grounds, in fact whole campus is just one building. There are many books available in library and also environment of library is one of the best in whole college. You also get access to many journals online and also from your student profile on amizone. There are few clubs like we form sports club, club for social affairs and others.

Admission

For doing BBA you can easily take admission by giving its entrance test. You don't need to have done you 12th in any particular stream. It is better to take admission early be updated by checking it's website as you can take admission till seats are available. Talking about it's entrance exam anyone could easily crack it even if you are an average student. There will 2 round of test one is written test and other is personal interview. I think they should be little strict with there admission process.

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is good like there are around 15 students under each mentor. Also the class size is around 40 and each class have proper lighting, fan, modern projector and AC. Faculty here are well trained and focuses on overall development of the students. They are very interactive and updated about new trend also gives real life examples and case studies. And you have some problem or did not understand you can reach out to them anytime they are mostly available to make you understand.

Interview Experience

3

Yes you need to go through written test, personal interview and group discussion for taking admission. And also there are combine graduation exam if you score enough then you can directly go for PI and GD. It is not very much hard with little preparation you could easily crack it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was convocational course named BBB (Bachelor in Business Management). Since I was motivated to be a businessman I opted for this course. The curriculum is well designed which prepares students for the real world since it gives deeper insights of the corporate world and also focuses on to tackle real life decisions. They should have included some industrial visits also in the course to prepare students for the corporate world. Their teaching method was good, no complaints in it. The main exam was semester exam which was conducted by the University once in six months and it was mandatory to pass. The difficulty level was easy, almost everyone used to pass it comfortably.

Placement Experience:

Placement is very high as almost all the students in the third year or the last semester got placed in many multinational companies like wipro, TCS, icici bank, Infosys, etc. 99% of the students got placed and this depends on the students not on the college the student has to pass the entrance test and then interview done by the company and accordingly they got placed. Getting placed in a good multinational company is my aim after getting a degree.

Remarks:

The most important criteria or the factor which influences me to get admission in this college is their fee structure. As compare to other colleges ISM has affordable fee structure and they also provide the drcc loan if you are not able to pay by own.ISM gives the quality of education and after getting admission in this college I am totally agree with it. They not only focus the academics but they also focus on the co curricular so that the students must have knowledge about all the things and they can do their best in the field in which they are interested. The management of college is awesome and I just want to tell you if you really want to learn something go for it.

Remarks:

The college has a big campus. The facilitiea are not upto the mark. There are some orthodox people in the college as well who closed our canteen giving the reason that boys and girls use to waste their time in the canteen. The management is also very poor as it does not take action or fulfill the needs of students timely.
