Course Curriculum Overview

Main reason to opt for this course was the job aspect. Our college gives us good and reliable job. The good thing about curriculum is it is mostly designed as per industry standards. The exams are very difficult mostly

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are fine but limited. Many Swiss banks and renowned indian companies visit to offer internships. Roles are mainly developers and research people. Stipends are very high though.

Placement Experience

Placement is good mostly, just not this year due to recession. If i dont get placement here then would apply in off campus companies. 4 th years can sit for placements. Main recruiters are TCS, cognizant and wipro and many other companies. Mostly 9 pointers get super dream placements

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee ranges from 3 lakh to 5 lakh per year. There are 5 categories. Category 1 has fee 3 lakh, category 2 has 3 lakh, category 3 has 4 lakh and category 4 has 4.5 lakh and category 5 has 5 lakh.This is including GST. Hostel and all other fee remains same for all irrespective of the category.

Campus Life

My campus life was good. Created many friends from all over the country. Main fests are Gravitas that happens in November. It is tech fest. Cultural fest is Riveira which happens in Feb. There are lots of diverse clubs here with very good sponsors

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are good, though crowded and toilets are bad. Here the water is hard water so you may get bald. Mess food is just fine. Though hostels are overall expensive. You cant stay outside if you are not a local

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

I gave the JEE mains exam but didnt got good percentile there. Then i filled various private colleges including Shiv Nadar University, Manipal University and others. To take admission at my college, you have to give VITEEE exam. My college is better over others on the basis of placement and research opportunities

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is good. It maybe around 1:10. Most faculties are good, knowledgable and supportive. Good faculties are Srinivas Kuppu, Senthilkumar N and many others. Exams are mostly hard and application based questions are asked

Night Life

No night life. People are not allowed to go outside after 9pm. There are coffee shops and good places to go though. But Vellore is a town so dont expect much. There is Vellore fort nearby to visit. Town people are nice

Exploring SNSCT in my POV

Placement Experience:

For campus placements students of the 4th year or 7th semester are the eligible ones. Multiple companies like zoho,apple,TCS,CTS, accenture etc have come and multiple small companies too. But the intake for the big and reknown MNCs were low from abt 2-3 candidates only.the placement here is 100% but the companies may vary.My future goal is to go for a government official stream after I finish my masters abroad.

A place of growth

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year itself a student become eligible for campus placements and some of seniors got ino flipkart like companies. So the college is good at placement. College with good environment, teaching and placements

Placement Experience:

On doing 6th semester companys are coming for placements. But most of the companys come in the 7th semester. There is a lot of companies come here like Embedur, Honeywell,Caterpillar,Zoho,Tcs, Accenture,Hcl,Ltimindtree,Cts,etc.. Around 75-85 percentage of students got offer. The Highest package is 20lpa amd lowest is 3.36lpa. I have to go to IT company for work.

The only college i applied was VIT .i applied in DKM college just as an Last option. I was not rejected from another college as I didn't applied for any college. Admission process in Vit is a bit lengthy as loths of students apply in here soluctat com course in vit so there's no entranow exam selection will be based on 12th marks so no need to worry about entrance exam preparation, Admissions entire process is criing so it is easy for everyone. it requires some medical certificate and oil To sacure your sect in VIT your rank should coma within 200.000 Hore.
