The msot appreciative thing about my college is the environment and the events which takes place from day to day.
The boy is to girls ration is almost the same.

Dislikes

The thing that I dislike is about the attendance criteria
The food is sometimes not up to the standard quality.

Course Curriculum Overview

The improvement in the course I feel like it should consist of more real life based rather more practical concepts. Which we require from our day to day activity. According to me this course is something new and a new concept not available in many of the colleges.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 112000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise salary for the course which I have choosen is 1lakh and 12 thousand. The tution fee is around 96000. The registration fee , admission fee, lab fee and the other compulsory fees rounds up to 16000.

Campus Life

The annual fest of our college is known as Xavrang which takes place every year in Januray . For the fest a lot of clubs and teams are recruiting members from all over the campus. We can get our course books from the library and they are up-to-date.

Admission

This college provides a lot of scope to grow individually and as a team. We can learn a lot of things about the outside world. We get exposure to a lot of different things that the other colleges fail to provide.

Faculty

The relationship between the faculty and the student is very good. All the faculty members are very helpful and they give solutions when approached to. My favourite faculty member is our Economics teacher. Our course comprises of two exams namely internal of 50 marks and the end semester exam of 100 marks.

Night Life

The hostel timings are from 7am in the morning till 9pm in the night. After that student are not allowed to leave their hostel other than any emergency. Most famous hangout spot is our canteen inside our college premesis and the tea stall a few meters from our college is a famous hangout spot too.

Placement Experience:

In our Bba course we can opt for campus placement from the 7 th semester. The companies that visit our college are like concentrix, TCS, Amazon, cognizant, Wipro and many more. The highest package offered was 5 lpa and the lowest was 1.5 lpa and the average package is 2 lpa. My plan after completing my degree and either to get a placement as soon as possible or if I can arrange enough funds I will do my MBA from a reputed institution.

My journey at DSMS

Placement Experience:

The college has great deals with corporate sector in order to provide placements to the students. However, the BBA students mostly gets oppyrtunity in sales department. Which is not always appealing for the students who doesn't have a interest in sales. So, just that need to be changed. Although, I am talking about 2019, hopefully this has changed now.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements after 4th semster TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, PWC, KPMG are the major recruiters and approx 10 offers made. The highest package was around 600000 offered by PWC students who apply for placements gets placed and records 100% placemnets. I was placed in TCS and currently work here

St. Xavier's University, Kolkata presents the B.A. LL. (H) course has a minimum requirement of 45 % in the 10+2 examinations. The candidates undergo the Xavier's Law Entrance Test (XLAT) as part of the admission process. It tests the candidate's general knowledge, mathematical skills, English language skills and other skills needed to be eligible to study law without hindrance. This process is quite seamless as a member of the university's it department will call the candidate and guide them through this process. The application form can be found at the university's website that is - https://sxuk.edu.in. Navigating through the website is quite easy and other details about the course can be found there. Unfortunately, at the moment there are no reservation benefits. Improvements that I want to see is that they can try to make their XLAT exam portal a little better as I entered the portal before the exams started and got stuck there and had to shut down my PC to exit it.
