When I selected the college to be going, to then applied to several instituitions, that comprised VNR VJIET, CBIT, and GITAM, while choosing Sreyas for few particular reasons. One of them would obviously be that one of the colleges which I applied was CBIT. It had a grand reputation for infrastructure and placement record, but Sreyas came up with better support for practical learning and personal development that were my major concerns. While the others mostly excelled in theory, I was convinced that the emphasis was on skill-building, which coincided with my long-term objectives. Among the colleges to which I had applied, I have received confirmed admissions in VNR VJIET and GITAM. But it was basically Sreyas that suited my imagination of a college that balances academics and extracurricular activities. The vibrancy and involvement of the students at Sreyas was also much more appealing to me compared to the other colleges, which seemed relatively quieter. Unfortunately I suffered rejections from CBIT and another prestigious institute due to falling short of their competitive entrance exam cutoffs. Now when I look back, my preparation for those specific exams hadn't been that strong, and I missed that opportunity to get a seat there as well. Some of the colleges also were having a very few seat numbers with stiff competition. The case with Sreyas was direct admissions. The college accepts scores from other entrance exams like EAMCET and JEE Mains, which are the most common ones for engineering courses in my region. The cutoff scores were pretty average and pretty comfortable enough to clear through. One has to pass 12th with science subjects, and getting a decent rank in the entrance exam is always required. The overall admission process was very smooth, and counseling sessions were helpful in making the right decisions about courses and campus preferences.

We have about 60-70 students in a class. Total strength in the specialisation computer science engineering will be around about 300 students. However, overall for the B.Tech program, all specialisations together would be about 1200 in strength. The girls-to-boys ratio for our course is about 1:4, illustrating that the college has a greater enrollment of boys. The girls-to-boys ratio throughout the college is approximately 1:3, which corresponds with the general trend across various fields. Culturally, our class is very heterogeneous, with the student hailing from a different part of India. We have significant proportions of students from neighboring states - some students come from Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu, constituting around 20-25% of the class. The kind of cultural diversity we experienced helped bring diverse prospective angles to the learning experience. Generally, the peer group is friendly and encourages learning from peers. Many students do group work on projects and during study sessions thus encouraging a palatable atmosphere of learning. In most cases, group discussions lead to deeper insights as students are sharing their own comprehension of the concept. The class is fully encouraged to participate. There are marks for attractive engagement in discussions and, therefore, motivates us to attend classes but also helps build an interesting learning atmosphere. Actual attendance for learning purposes occurs among many of those attending classes with intent, especially for those students who are interested and committed to their academic and professional futures. On the other hand, a few always seem to attend primarily in order to fulfill attendance requirements. In general, most students are committed to their education, as they can see value in the knowledge and skills being absorbed in class.

Summer internships are not conducted at Sreyas. Therefore, it is completely up to the students to take self-initiated independent internship, which may be really challenging because it necessitates proactive efforts on the part of the students while seeking opportunities available through online job portals, networking events, and personal contacts in the industry. This means that the percentage of students who have reportedly secured internships is pretty patchy, and many would not get a hold by summer. Several students do not get formal internships; end up with self-directed projects, freelance work or online courses as a way of filling the gap during summer while spending time boosting their skills and portfolio. Since there is no set placement process, even the availability of paid internships is variable. While some students get paid internships, others work as unpaid interns or in unpaid projects that would still give them experience. The stipends for the very few paid internships are highly variable, some bringing as much as 10,000 INR per month, while others are unpaid. In regards to the popular companies, students seem to focus on locally based startups or business in their area of interest; again, however, with the fact that the college is not directly involved in any placement process, it really is very unpredictable. The case is also much the same for other courses in terms of internships, and they too are not an official program; as such, the students appear to have to go it alone on internship.(BLANK PICTURE UPLOADED)

Placements at Sreyas usually start in the final semester; this covers January till April or May, depending on the participating companies and their recruitment schedules. The process gets formally closed once all the companies get completed with their recruitment rounds. Closing off the process takes an enormous amount of time owing to the fact that it takes such a long time for the companies to finalize their decisions. Though a vast majority of students do get placements, not everyone is placed. On an average, 50-65% of students get jobs through the college placement drive. The balance students who do not get a job are sometimes left high and dry. The college usually repeats the placement drives for such students, conducts some workshops or resume preparation sessions, and pushes them to apply independently also. Compensation-wise, the average CTC of graduated offers would be around 6-8 LPA, though the highest offers are all around 15-20 LPA. Even some students receive lower packages, mostly those positions offered in small companies or startups that see CTCs at times going as low as 4 LPA. These are the preferred companies by the Computer Science graduates at Sreyas: Google, Microsoft, and Amazon, as well as TCS and Infosys, mainly because of their reputation, career growth, and quality work experience offered. The average CTCs for these companies are between 8-12 LPA, hence they become very popular. Apart from these premier firms, there are many companies, mainly IT and consultancy-based organizations, which recruit in bulk during the placement drives. Wipro, Cognizant, and Accenture, among others, are common recruiters for such organizations and usually offer 5-7 LPA with average CTCs. The placement committee works extensively to build a connection between students and potential employers and does all the background work for the entire placement process. They organize campus recruitment, assist in conducting interviews, and guide students in resume preparation as well as interview skills. According to them, the process is highly transparent, although they have some issues related to the selection criteria of the companies and their communication regarding placement statistics. Fees at Sreyas are categorized under different heads. Given below is the distribution of the fees every year. Tuition Fees: ₹85,000 per year . Development Fees: ₹10,000 per year . Other Mandatory Charges: ₹5,000 per year, including exam fees and other miscellaneous administrative charges. I will pay approximately ₹3,80,000 to cover the whole 4-year B.Tech course and that covers all mandatory charges like tuition, development, and other fees. Sreyas college is pretty cost-effective as far as fees are concerned, compared with similar league colleges such as VNR VJIET and CBIT. Though the tuition fees are a little higher in some colleges, still again, depending on other services they offer, overall costs do vary. Besides all these, students incur various other monthly expenses, apart from the tuition fees. Not to mention, if they stay alone, then there are extra expenses too. Eating out, groceries, or personal items-all these add up. An average student spends around ₹3,000 - ₹5,000 a month on extra stuff, everything that has to do with his lifestyle or the place he commutes from. While the entire fee structure remains almost the same, there are a few differences for the reserved categories. In some cases, due to specific government schemes, SC/ST/EWS students do have their fees cut a little and even get paid for through those schemes, thereby decreasing their tuition fee. General categories normally pay the full fees. Sreyas does offer merit-cum-means scholarships. An approximate estimation of 15 to 20 percent of students receive some form of scholarship every year, ranging from ₹20,000 to ₹50,000, depending on their academic performance and financial background. This aids in reducing the burden for students belonging to economically weaker sections or with a very good academic record.

Campus Infrastructure Sreyas campus infrastructure is designed to offer a holistic experience for the students. For sports infrastructure, the college provides both outdoor cricket and football fields, basketball and volleyball courts, and an indoor table tennis room along with a badminton court. Most of the equipment needed for these sports are also available through the college. The auditorium is spacious and holds routine events, guest lectures, and cultural programs. The library is well-stocked with all kinds of books-literary, general knowledge, and other subjects. The students can use it from early in the morning till late evening, thus making adequate time available for studies. A copy of most crucial textbooks can be procured without much hassle, and the library also avails third-party databases for research work and projects, thereby adding to the learning prowess of the students. This college campus spreads over considerable ground. It offers a green and open environment to the students. Since there are no hostel facilities available, the students have to make their own arrangement for staying nearby. Many students commute from their rented houses to the academic block and mostly it is through public transport, bicycles, or carpooling. The campus allows personal vehicles on campus, which gives flexibility to the students in commuting. While relatives are encouraged to visit campus, overnight accommodation arrangements are not made, thus guests may have to seek alternative lodging arrangements in the campus vicinity. In addition to this central canteen, with various food options, there are several other food joints and cafes spread throughout campus, offering students various dining options. The college has a medical center which, being very well equipped, is capable of dealing with any form of basic health concern or emergency. It is well staffed by qualified doctors and nurses, so that proper care is given to each student. While the medical center may be enough to take care of the everyday needs of the students, some of them may require off-campus treatment for serious health matters.Campus life at Sreyas is quite vibrant in providing the student with a well-rounded experience beyond academics. As soon as classes are over, most students are found engaged in some activity; this could be group study, clubs meeting, or just hanging around with their friends in some corner or the canteen. The locality around the college is pretty safe for students as well even in night hours. Most of the students would feel relaxed enough to explore around the places, but again wise to be in a group and conscious of the surroundings. Sreyas hosts several major fests and cultural events throughout the academic year when the campus gets vibrant and lively. The students play a very important role in the annual cultural fest, tech fests, and sports meets. In the recent years, the presence of several very renowned celebrities including great musicians, orators have blessed these events and has made it utterly thrilling. The college has clubs and committees of various types: cultural clubs, technical societies, sports teams, etc. As a member of the cultural committee, an event is organized and conducted in collaboration with activities for the growth and development of the community at the student level. Among the range of clubs available, the important ones that add value to students' personalities are the technical club, which gives students hands-on experience and sharpens technical skills.

Hostels are not available in Sreyas, so the students themselves have to make arrangements for their accommodation. The situation at the place encourages the students to try all avenues of staying in the environs, be it taking an apartment on rent or sharing accommodation with class fellows. Although this freedom and flexibility of making one's own arrangement for accommodations may appeal to some students, it can be accompanied by responsibility and hassle, especially when students move to a new city. Many students join groups of friends who share houses - not only does this reduce the living costs but creates a sense of community among peers. Further, other leasing options show that the students can pick any location they can like and feel secure with it, therefore making college life more personalized.Since Sreyas does not have hostel facilities, the students have to find accommodation elsewhere. They have to look for an apartment or a house to share with other students. The freedom in living situation choice according to their needs and budget poses some problems mainly for freshers of the locality. Many students gather in an effort to share rooming costs, which, not only reduces the cost for everyone, but also fosters a strong sense of community. Students who don't have the option of housing on campus may have to choose their living arrangements more based on transportation, college distance, and some local amenities, which really can make the college experience even more intimate and student-centered.

The admission process at Sreyas shares a common procedural framework used by the majority of Telangana's engineering colleges. 1. Application Process: Application process starts by the students after the declaration of 12th-grade exam results. In general, the application form for TS EAMCET is available in the month of March-April. To do this, candidates are needed to be registered through an online portal provided on the official website of EAMCET. The whole process of form filling and registration takes a month on an average. 2. Entrance Exam: TS EAMCET is considered to be the best entrance exam to get admission into Sreyas. Entrance exam is conducted in May, and results come out in June. Students from other states or those want to take an alternative entrance exam can apply through JEE Mains also. 3. Counseling counseling starts immediately after the declaration of EAMCET results. Counseling of students starts in July after the declaration of EAMCET results. Counseling is a process through which students are able to get registered with counseling process to verify their documents and then to choose the preferred college. At this stage, students have to choose colleges by ranking them along with ranking according to their EAMCET rank to get the college allotted seats. 4. Seat Allotment: Seat allotments are usually done by August, and such students get an offer of admission from the respective institute, which is supposed to confirm it by paying some part of the fee . 5. Classes Start: Once all formal procedures as part of admissions get over, classes begin usually in September, although the management quota/direct admissions could have slightly wider time clauses that allow students to get a seat even later. Most Preferred Exam and Safe Score The TS EAMCET is a most preferred exam to secure admission at Sreyas for engineering courses. A rank as low as around 20,000 or below in EAMCET could help get a good chance of admission into popular branches. For students who are applying through JEE Mains, a percentile of 80 and above gives a good chance of getting a seat.

It is not that much difficult it is average. Student do fail. The Good aspect can be that it opens the doors at several opportunities and fields for the students and bad aspects can be that if your are not active in daily basis then you will loose informations like which internship was going to be held or what is going in the class , it is hard to cop up with these things . There are two semester in a year which includes two exams . There are 8 lectures in a day. The college starts at 8:00 Am and over at 5:00 PM. The schedule is hectic. Some days are too hectic that we can't get time to have lunch and some days are to free that we have to wait in gap of hours like if there a class is at 9am then the other will be at 1pm . It is too chaotic for the students who came for only for lectures but it has gap in it The teaching is very good . They used too mark the lines from the novels which is very relevant , they share PDFs , we have presentation by the students . There are some teachers who can be admired because they are supportive they teach very well and know how to tackle with that huge syllabus and make it as simple as possible . Some teachers can't be admire because they used to cancel the lectures they are frequently and when they came their only motive is to finish the syllabus no matters if it is understandable to the students or not . There is 5 marks for attendance in every semester if our attendance is 67% then we will get 1 marks only , as the percentage grows numbers are also grows . And those who doesn't complete the criteria a notice is sent through the mail . Nothing huge is happened as those who don't even come , they sit in exam .
