Course Curriculum Overview
Pharmacy was the best option for Bipc students apart from MBBS. My main aim was MBBS,but unfortunaley i couldn't get it. Retail pharma, industrial, clinical had a huge scope which made me to opt for Bachelor of Pharmacy. Curriculum needs more practical knowledge to prove within the real time market. Improvement was much needed with research based programs as it was the major core area for pharma aspirants. Frequency betwween internal and external exams were too short.
Fees and Financial Aid
The overall Tuition fee was INR 2,60,000 which is INR 32500 per each sem. There were miscellaneous charges as well, which includes registration fee for seminars, lab charges, caution fee close to 1 lakh The fee to my friends was zero tuition as they were eligible for fee reimbursement, only examination fee and miscellaneous charges was added to them I was not eligible for fee reiimbursement and no merit based scholarships were available at that moment.
Campus Life
Annual day celebrations, fests and seminars were held. Alumni of past students and festival celebtrations done accordingly The technical stuff and applicable facilitations were strong and only labs were shortage of facilties. Sports were conducted state wise and extra curricular certifications were available No attentive social media was present
Admission
The reason where i got into the college was just because of the web based counseling done as per the EAMCET scores. Even after phase 2 counseling i got into the same college as i got less marks in EAMCET,which was the deciding factor for eligibility. Students who scored good marks were eligible for top universities or colleges Admissions purely based on entrance exam EAMCET scores.
Faculty
The way of faculty approach to each and every student was too good and approach was decent.Infact knowledge shared by the faculty made me to gain more industrial practical knowledge into more industrial research based exposure. The pharmaceutics staff helped me a lot to get into realtime job experience. The mathematics staff within the first year was not supportive, more care should have been taken Maths was the more difficult part of the entire Pharma course because maths was not core subject with in intermediate.
Night Life
We had limited facilities within the college as it was not a residential campus and no hostels or accomodation was avaialble All time favourite hangout places were cafe and playground No nightlife, as it was not a residential campus
Other Applied Colleges
Osmania University - [OU] | Bachelor of Pharmacy [B Pharma]
As we had web based counseling, shortlisting was done based on EAMCET scores
