Faculty

Students do not fail in exam if they have just given the internals and appeared in viva . The teachers give bad score to those who aren't capable but they do not fail any student. The food aspect of my course is that it helps in building our career in corporate sector as well as in banks most obviously. Usually 6 classes takes place in my college in a day but the time is not definite . College times are from 8:00am -4:00pm . Classes are held between this time period only . The teachers tought us via blackboard duster or via books as suitable. The faculty that is my favourite is Mrs umang Tondon ma'am and Miss Samiya ma'am ,these two professors are so understanding and they always help me whenever I get stuck in any problem. The attendance is mandatory for each student,70-75% attendance is must to get good marks in internals.

As a person who wants to build a strong foundation in both economics and mathematics, B.A.(Hons.) Economics was my first choice. This course not only provide valuable insights into how real world economics work, but it also has great career prospects. Students studying economics major actively take consulting, research, risk management as popular career choices. Since this is a practical course with a broad focus on mathematics, the difficulty level is from moderate to high.

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

I would say the placement opportunities are more available for science , commerce background students in the college there are rarely any placement opportunities for humanities background students . Mostly students starts engaging in placement in the fifth semester .severky companies visited campus every year including Deloitte , EY.TCS etc . Around 40 - 50 percent students from professional courses get the placement annually .even for the students not opting for placement the exposure n the strong alumni network of college help them secure good opportunities outside campus
