NEHU:A central university with heavenly natural beauty

I wanted to pursue my masters in central university only that's why I choose to study in this university as it is nearby my hometown and also it's affordable for me.I'm pursuing masters in economics so for me this curriculum prepares me for real world applications or further academic pursuits,as economics is the subject which can be studied for arts, commerce and science background also.We can do MA/BA,B.COM/M.COM or BSC/MSC as it is a all rounder subject.

There are so many internship opportunities in the campus specially for B.tech,M.tech and MBA students....from economics department RBI visited and held two conferences in just 2 months where they show us the opportunities about how to make career on RBI and avail any internship opportunities.

The admission fees is 3700 for 1st and 3rd semester and 2000 for 2nd and 4th semester.you can apply for various scholarships like umbrella (for meghalaya students only),NER(for northeast students), National scholarship for postgraduate studies (all indian postgraduate students,merit basis)

The campus life is so nice and Nature friendly here.There are many festivals held in this university every year but the best two events are General freshers,DJ night and Prom night as everyone dress formal western here and dance together with enjoyment. So the central library of NEHU is the biggest central library in the northeast India,so many books and journals are available here.you can even download ebooks online from NEHU library website also. The faculties and technological provisions within the classrooms are very good,there is a smart screen in the every class for screening. Northeastern people are very active in sports and other areas so in the university also it's the same only.university campus offers so many big playgrounds and a basketball, football and tennis stadium in the campus. Here are so many student run social grops present here who work for students against injustice but KSU (khasi student union) and NEHUSU(NEHU student union) is more powerful than any other unions here.

I applied for central university of Punjab, northeasten hill University and central university of haryana,from these three universities i got confirm admission from all but i choose NEHU as it's affordable for me and it's nearby my hometown. I didn't applied for so many universities that's why I didn't got rejection from any university. The admission process of NEHU is a bit different than other universities as it provides extra weightage for the meghalaya domicile students and the students of NEHU affiliated colleges,so it's a bit difficult for outsiders of meghalaya to get admitted into this university.

The faculty and student relationship is friendly as the faculty will help you if you have any questions or confusions.....there is no specific faculty I like or dislike as I'm a fresher here and just came here 1 month ago but you guys will really love the faculty. So the exam process is like best two class test marks will added to the final exam.if you study from beginning then you will score good marks obviously because professors are very professional.

The nightlife in university campus is so lively, hostel students roam around the university lake side and so many hostelers go the canteens and cafes under the campus for group chatting and enjoy the food.there are a women gym and a men gym also where students can exercise there with free of cost. Hostel timings in the campus are from morning any time to 8 or 8.30 pm. Some famous regular hangout places inside NEHU campus are Lakeside,My cafe, canteens etc.
