Course Curriculum Overview

5

Quizes happens frequently, 3 times a week. The exam is held for 2 hours for each subjects. Teaching method is amazing and coyser is properly designed keeping in mind what industry demands out if management students.

Placement Experience

5

Students are eligible from 4th trimester to sit for placement. There are more than 25 companies come for placement during Oct - Jan for recruitment. Average package is 24 lakhs and Highest is 51 lakhs. I have joined the product management role after completion of the course

Fees and Financial Aid

I need to pay fees in 2 installment within 2 months once course starts, the fees has increased from last year by ~ 2 lakhs the complete fees for PGPM program is 21.5 lakhs excluding international immersion. There is no scholarship program.

Campus Life

4

Amazing campus life, campus is very big and it's sorrounded by greenery. It has all the major facilities. We participate in lots of cultural event which is held here. SPJIMR is one college which focuses on social activity and give importance. Even basis my interview I feel that they have strong inclination towards someone who has done some social service.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel is good with twin sharing. Need to share freeze and washing machine per floor. Bfst is affordable and good quality. Rooms are allotted randomly. Common bathroom sharing with bed, cleaning facilities and basic things like table, chair and almirah for each student is available

Admission

SPJIMR PGPM program ends by Oct 15th however for rest of the college's it ends by Jan end. So due to early offer and opportunities Spjimr gets an edge. Once student gets offer from SPJIMR in Oct mid, they don't want to withdraw from course as other colleges will be out only in Jan end and don't want to loose the 1st opportunity and same was the case with me.

Faculty

5

Faculty to student ratio is 1:15, All faculties are highly experienced and I especially like the one who reached marketing. Her wife experience and teaching with great example is quiet interesting. There are 8 exams every trimester and there are credited assigned for each subjects. 99% students pass all the exams and the course is quiet relevance as it incorporates new tools which is in demand in market.

Interview Experience

5

Yes, SPJIMR used to have group interview wherein people from different backgrounds are out and asked the question one by one relevant to the fields. There can also be cross questioning if it's relevant to the other field. It feels quite interactive. There is no written exam. We need to submit essays basis which we get interview call. I reached out to Alumni and took help in essays review and prepare for interview

Night Life

5

Gym is not available but it's in WIP. Cafeteria is good with affordable food. Library is available and one can go anytime to study and complete the assignments or do some research. There is no restriction on in and out timings. Cafeteria, Park, near Lake arectge favourite hanging areas

Placement Experience:

The average Lpa of the college is 9 lpa so it is good. Marketing gets 100% placement as compared to other streams. There is booth on campus and off campus placement. And the placement cells bring good companies and there are chances of PPO also.

College management is not that good, which I felt is need to be improved. making everything student centric makes it difficult for students as well as college to be organised.

We learned a lot from the curriculum and the college itself. My journey was a mixed bag of feelings with many sweet and sour moments. The classroom sessions were fun and so were the field visits and management activities like webinars or mock marketing competitions.

The university gives you a great exposure to shape up your life for a great future. There's absolutely no racism and everyone is treated equally. This is the only institute in pune where girls and boys are found in almost equal numbers. In fact girls are encouraged to become entrepreneurs.
