What Students Say?
Likes
- Infrastrucutr of the college which was huge
- Extra curricular activities like sports competetions and fests
Dislikes
- No commute options. college is deep inside province and will have to either walk 3kms or pay 20rs
- Faculty only teaches the stuff from text books and not much practical teaching is done
Course Curriculum Overview
i choose this course because most of my seniors told me that artificial intelligence is gon be trending in future. the college curriculum doesnt really prepare us for any real world applications. the faculties mostly teach us whats in the books and dont really tell how and where the methods are used. course curriculum can include encouraging students to develop real world applicarions and show case them in project expo, and conduct hackathons and ccompetetions and faculty should encourage students ideas and help them we only have the regular mid terms and semester exams and their difficulty level is average
Internships Opportunities
so there werent any internships but we had a training program by gradious (a software coaching platform) they are incharge for the placements for now the companies visited were mostly coaching insitutes offering free coaching qspiders - free coaching nirudhyog - free coaching collaberadigital - help desk capsitech - full stack trainee another companh - business dev
Placement Experience
College takes 5000 in the fee for the placement training program and they trained us only in thr first year of the college and stopped in 2nd and 3rd years and continues in 4th year. the final year students 4-1 semester students are eligible for campus placements the companies did visit our college but they werent IT jobs, they were mostly business developement or help desk, or they were some coaching insitutes which interviewed us and offered free training the highest package this academic year was 350000 and average is around 250000. 10% of the students would get placed and most of the students do not attend inteeview as they are non it my plans after degree is to work in a IT company for an year and do masters
Fees and Financial Aid
the total tuition fee for the course per year is 70000 the admission fee is around 5000 placement training fee is around 5000 labs + maintainence developemetn fee around 10000 so for the first year the fee is around 85000 from which the Telangana state goverment covers 35000, so i had to pay 50000 for the next years i had to pay 45500 every year since there was no admission fee
Campus Life
so the campus life is okay not good not bad. we got annual days, freshers party and farewell party, technical fests, sports competetions called kurukshetra. library usually has books only related to the academic syllabus every classroom has power sockets for every other bench and they all have projects which arent used alot there arent any social groups or clubs or any student portals yet but i believe they are working on it
Admission
i watched about this college in a new channel where they were telling us all the benifits of the college and how the placements are 100% guarenteed. even tho its not so popular i still applied. i applied to other colleges like geetanjali institute of technology, neil gogte institutr of technlogy. they were more popular and better infracture. my eligibily was based on my eamcet, my rank was 72000 and it wasnt up the cut off rank so i did not get selected but i got selected in kommuri pratap reddy college. so the rejections was mostly because of my eamcet performance
Faculty
the faculty to student ratio is around 1 faculty to evrry 30 students. faculties are mostly friendly towards students but some of them are extremely strict towards the first year students i liked vinay sir (engineering graphics) most he teaches with live examples and is friendly there will be 3 main exams in every semester each year has 2 semesters every semester there is a mid term1, mid term2, and semester exam. the difficulty level is average. and for my batch the exams were conducted by JNTUH so alot of students fail and the corrections feel unfair, but now since my college is autonomous its better
Night Life
college is in a rural area and just beside the college is a hill, so it is a little scary at night and there are chances of snakes roaming. there is a gym but it is not really used and it is only allowed for the hostel students hostels are fairly nice and big and the mess is also good they provide both non veg and veg items. cafeteria is pretty cool but its small and there is a lake nearby for site seeing and a tea store too for students to hang out and take break locality is safe to roam around at night but its advised to be carefull
Other Applied Colleges
Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology - [CBIT] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering)
i did not have the cutoff rank for this college
