Course Curriculum Overview

MBBS is a profession of respect and nothing influence my decision till now. Yeah the only thing is time. If you are type A personality then this course is not for you. You must have the patience to do this course and a lot of dedication to study and learn everything it's a very vast study. The only thing that can improve is teaching without ppts use it only when you have finished your baisc lecture and the concept for the topic that's it

Campus Life

Uthkarsha is the biggest college event. Beside uthkarsha we celebrate teacher's day ganesh mahotsav College has the buggest Library in whole telangana 24hrs reading room with ac and conducted inter college championship this year T juda and batch wise collge committee is there.various different clubs are also there

Hostel Facilities

Hostel overall facility is good. Fee structure is also reliable. Mess is also good. They are planning to have washing machine for clothes washing this year a bicycle club is also added this year. Registration process is easy and reliable. No such complications everyone is supportive in staff.

Admission

I applied in colleges of Maharashtra bengaluru and telangana and rajasthan out of them telangana was my preference due to fee structure and no bond for 2or 3 yrs and the environment is also peaceful and safe and this is the 3rd largest and prestigious college of Telangana

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is good every department has at least 8-10 professors asoociates and hod. Dr. Raju sir was my personal favourite(pharmacology) But now he is transferred ???? Others are also good in medicine like dr. Pawan sir and so many. Three internals every year along with a prefinal and final university exam Mostly the don't pass anyone in internals but they won't detain based on internals marks. They will let u write ur final exams untill u did a blunder

Night Life

Gym is there which is renovated this year and new facilities added . Along with it forst floor is freed for other extra student activities. No timings for boys in hostel. Girls can go out till9:30pm college timings till5pm. As it's a small place hangout places won't ve more but it's good you will stidy better

I loved the campus ,its soooooo green and peaceful,
Ig compared to other clgs,teaching here is better
I feel very safe inside the campus ,but its too strict

Dislikes

Over strictness,u will have curfew ,u are not allowed to go out of the campus without permissions,u have to wear uniform,too many restrictions
I feel that the management should have more coordination
Restrictions, u are not allowed to bring phones to the classrooms ,if found u will have 10k fine

Well Our faculty does tell us their personal experiences while explaining topics And Coming to timings for exams Well U will have to write many slip tests and assignments And u will have to pass ur internals to write proff exams

MRIMS, one of the best Underrated Deemed medical college.

Likes

The hospitals affiliated to medical college have an excellent patient flow, there are 4 hospitals of malla Reddy in the campus, there's a Narayana multi-speciality hospital, mother & child care hospital, malla Reddy hospital and cancer hospital.
There are more than sufficient sports activities available at the college, there is a huge football ground and cricket ground, turf, basketball court badminton court and table tennis
The food in the mess is really great, non-veg food is served daily, there are a lot of food stalls of cafes and other major brands inside the campus like Barista. The lecture halls, practical labs and classrooms are well maintained and spacious.

Dislikes

The vegetarian dishes made in lunch usually suck, but I'd say in comparison to other hostels, the hostel of this college serves edible food, but in comparison to non veg dishes the vegetarian dishes don't taste that good, so veg people face problems
There's a lot of construction going on in the campus as of now, which makes the campus look aesthetically non-pleasing, but it's only for the time being as it recently got converted to deemed University they are upping the standard of the infra.
The hostel room given to some of the boys are relatively bad to the other hostel rooms. We weren't given tables, cupboards and chairs when we arrived at hostel, after a month we were provided all the basic necessities.

The course is CBME approved, so there's no need to worry about the curriculum. The National Medical Commission (NMC) has introduced a new Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) curriculum for the MBBS program in India. The curriculum is divided into three phases: Foundational, Organ System-Based Clinical, and Clinical. Assessment includes continuous assessment, practical exams, theory exams, and OSCEs.

Likes

Things I liked in my college is freedom its not too strict students have the freedom to explore and learn, there is no place for partiality.
The staff in college is extraordinary crystal clear concepts will be delivered to students.
The environment of college is quite peaceful to learn and its neither too far or too near to the main city making it accesible to students.

Dislikes

The main problem I have encountered is food theres a routine schedule in mess which bores students and they end up ordering food from outside

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the college is extraordinary it prepares us for the real world difficulties. The hospital provides us with lot of expousre we learn to deal with them. The frequency of exams is apt for students enabling us finish and portion and learn thoroughly.

Government medical college suryapet, a honest review

Likes

Faculties are highly qualified and way of teaching is impressive
Infrastructure is very well developed and new with well equipped lab and refreshment areas.
Connectivity from various major citiea are easy as college is just 2 hrs away from Vijayawada and Hyderabad

Dislikes

Climate us very hard to adjust with. Its mostly dry and hot
Local language is a bit hard to learn and most locals are very less educated
Syllabus is very vast and so there are very regular classes which feels quite tiring.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fact that this course provides you a very dignitorial position in society attracts me the most into it. The financial benefits are also quite impressive. The curriculum extending for 5.5 years provides you all the required knowledge to practice as a general doctor in the country. There is a total of 19 subjects for 4.5 years in total. 1 year rotatory internship in various clinical department in affiliated hospital gives you very good clinical exposure also. The internship here is stipended by ?26000-/- per month. Every year mcc is renewing the syllabus according to to demands of indian medical system. Frequency of exams are quite adjustable upto rth year. 4th year is quite hectic and tiring with syllabus.

It’s just college life

Likes

It has an equal boys to girls ratio and gives us many opportunities to interact and also learn from my classmates. The playgrounds are always available and it has space to walk. The hostel is comfortable and it provides us with healthy food.
The teachers are very helpful in answering doubts and also even if we approach them for basic problems like even hot water they help us lead to the solution and make us believe everything is okay or soon will be fine.
The friends I have made help me from getting overwhelmed when I am homesick and also study with me which gives all of us confidence.

Dislikes

As I have dust activity it actually is a bit of a problem due to the construction work going on and there is dust everywhere but the classes are provided with Acs which help me deal with it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is made according to our ability to grasp when we come out of our board exams. The first year might be considered a little touch but it in general is quite different and I personally enjoy studying it . Exams are a bit stressful but if a person has already studied then the tension gets distributed and it feels like nothing.

Life at Kakatiya Medical College

I had applied for a number of medical colleges in Telangana on state merit based on NEET UG 2020. The college's I didn't get selected into are Gandhi Medical College, Osmania Medical College. My third choice was Kakatiya Medical College, as it is the third best in the state. I didn't get selected based on my marks in the previous 2 colleges. Kakatiya Medical College

The only exam accepted to get into the course is neet ug. You select your order of preference of colleges and they match you based on that order based on your marks. You can only get confirmation from one college unless you're upgraded in the next round if there is a vacancy. I had gotten kamineni lb nagar in my previous round and I chose this because its a government college and there is a lot of clinical exposure to patients. I did not get into any all india quota colleges as I did not have enlugh marks. The councelling happens based on the rank you obtain. The top rankers are matched first and then they move down the ranks so you cannot get inti a college if all the seats are filled up. Theres about 90,000 seats in india and 17 lakh people writing the exam with that number increasing every year so the seats are all filled up within the first two lakhs and the course is very demanding. The admission process is all online so it is rather convinient. You just have to keep checking the dates and deadlines and apply and it'll take a while for you to get your result. Once you have that you will have ti go and submit all the relevant documents physically in the college and there will be a medical test where they evaluate your eyesight and take your urine samples etc etc and check for any medical conditions. And then the admission process is finished after you pay the fees or 15000. You can also opt for the hostel at the same time which is charged saperately. kmc warangal - is your dream college ?

this college is close to my home town and its just 3 hours away so there is no such thing as homesickness, and it has got a history of 100 years and huge patient exposure , due to this even if i got admission in kamineni medical college n apollo institute of medical sciences , i chose kakatiya medical college.i got rejection from gandhi and osmania medical college due to unavailable seats for my category .my college takes admission through NEET exam which is highly competitive exam , the cutoff goes very high some times when the paper is easy, so if worked hard enough it is easy to get into a medical college...Read More
