Course Curriculum Overview

4

The fact that the course is really relevant to today's world. Multiemedia, journalism are all a topic that is very interesting and has a chance for job vacancy in the future. The course has an internship included within the 6 semesters which will give you an idea about the course you are doing practically. The course is not only theoretical, but mostly practical which is more interesting.

Internships Opportunities

4

You can join any companies related to media and journalism, there aren't any fixed companies that you can do the internship. You can also join internships of your choice. There are many projects like newsmaking, reelmaking, photography, videography etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you want to join the college by management you will have to pay over 1 Lakh Rupees. But if you are joining by placement you will have to pay less than 5000 per year. When I joined I had to pay 8000 including the semester and the admission fee. But that's not the case if you are eligible for the scholarship, if you have the scholarship, you only have to pay around 500 per semester

Campus Life

5

Fests like festivista take place every year. Other intercollegiate programs and fests also take place. NCC (National Cadet Cops) NSS ( Natonal Service Scheme) Sports Day Also you get to join university sports championship like weightlifting, powerlifting, cricket, soccer etc.

Admission

I chose this college because it was very near to my house. But have 0 regrets choosing it. BMMC students gets to use facilities like AV theatre, multimedia studio etc. The admission process is quite simple like other colleges. You either get the admission through allotment or spot admission, or else you can pay the donation through management

Faculty

4

The faculties infact are really friendly and supportive. Our faculties kept changing becauee they were all guest lecturers. But they were all good. There aren't any faculties that I didn't like. There are total 6 semester exams. I haven't felt it as difficult as I was only studying the night before the exam and managed to pass all of them till 4th sem (currently). There are students that fail in exams but I think that's due to their irresponsibility.

Night Life

1

There are gym, canteen, high facility library witb over 15 systems you can use and with over 10000 books. Hostel is provided by the college if needed There is no nightlife in this college at all. Maximum time you can enjoy the college is till 6 pm

Other Applied Colleges

Sir Syed Institute for Technical Studies - [SSITS] | Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] (Finance)

I thought going for BMMC is better than BCOM

Our curriculum is all good and cover many range of topics which are mostly important and we also had may revision sessions but are very few and as a suggestion i would like some of the teachers to improve the way they take the classes . Sometime at the end of the semester they will hurry up and finish the portions so fastly. We also have 1/2 internals in each semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as i love journalism but haven't looked into curriculum before admission. Curriculum is quite good but some portions are irrelevant. Practicals are very less in the college which is really important for this course. The areas related to television and radio broadcasting should be improvised. Exams are once in 6 months

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well after my 12th this whole concept of media and getting into the world of media studies has kept me always on the edge of the seat. Because during my early days in IB I always had a knack for media studies and always be the top of my class. I just loved the world of media. There are just lots of things to do in media. Its a very productive genre for youths in working and creativity areas. Companies look forward to people like me. Our skill is their definition towards a new growth. The way how college prepares you for exams. Good luck with that. I don't think they mentally prepare us. They never teach us, so that's out of option. This is why the majority fails in my class. They are given a whole chapter without explanations. How can us as a student be prepared for the future?
