Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because it includes the multimedia that's animation, motion graphics, web designing, graphic designing, photography, videography etc. There's also journalism in this course. There are lots of practicals like news reporting, short film making etcc and designing assignments. We have lots of lab assessments ect that prepare us for the real thing. The curriculum should focus on internships and projects make more practical sessions than theories.

Admission

I chose this college over the krishna menon women's college that I got allotted at the first allotment because I wanted the multimedia course. This college was my first option in application, I get alloted at the second allotment. Admission process was very simple. Go to the college at the date u got when allotted and carry the documents and things you need and do the procedures as they say. Pay the admission fee.

Faculty

4

The faculties are very friendly and not strict according to the college. Our department is most cherished faculties since they are easily approachable and practical. They are the best at teaching with ease. Exams are medium and easy based on the previous experiences. According to the faculty 1:3 are the failures. Course curriculum is very relevant and effective.

Night Life

2

campus curfew is 5pm and hostel curfew for girls and boys are different. Cafeterias, libraries, gym everything will be closed off. It can be adjusted depending on the programs and late night camps etc with the permission of principal and management. Famous place to hangout around the college - the nearest town cafés and restaurants ,there are lots of. There are tourist places some around the locality like ponds and hill views etc

I chose this course as i love journalism but haven't looked into curriculum before admission. Curriculum is quite good but some portions are irrelevant. Practicals are very less in the college which is really important for this course. The areas related to television and radio broadcasting should be improvised. Exams are once in 6 months

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well after my 12th this whole concept of media and getting into the world of media studies has kept me always on the edge of the seat. Because during my early days in IB I always had a knack for media studies and always be the top of my class. I just loved the world of media. There are just lots of things to do in media. Its a very productive genre for youths in working and creativity areas. Companies look forward to people like me. Our skill is their definition towards a new growth. The way how college prepares you for exams. Good luck with that. I don't think they mentally prepare us. They never teach us, so that's out of option. This is why the majority fails in my class. They are given a whole chapter without explanations. How can us as a student be prepared for the future?
