Course Curriculum Overview

3

The college curriculum is very nice because we are getting a good practical exposure and exposure about agriculture and we are learning like modern and old technical method about agriculture and everything and many agriculture practices going on all over India in vegetable crops, fruits, spices and we are studying about plant diseases, said that are useful for agriculture like that we are studying. This course will help you improve new varieties like introduce new variety to know about the plant everything about the plant, their life, their life cycle and plant diseases, their disease, life cycle, and everything method is also very good like we are getting a particular experience also so we can understand it easily, and the semester is six month and exam difficulty. It's average. It's okay.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure for BSC AGRICULTURE HONS is nearly 50000 - 60000 per year. For SC,ST Categories there is reduction in sem fees and hostel fees. The fees should be pay semester wise and hostel and mess fees should pay monthly it's nearly 4000 per month. The college is providing merit scholarship for Karnataka students and Students from other states will get ICAR merit scholarship based on the CGPA.The CGPA Should be more than 7. The hostel for the first year is different and for second and third year is also different and fourth year also different The course is four year course, total, there are eight semester.

Campus Life

3

The college is very good and it is 600 acre of land. The college is giving very good priority to sports but compare to youth festival and everything it is giving very less priority, but the college doesn't have any good festival Good programmes, any programs, et cetera there is NSS in this college and alumni group. There are very less extra curricular activities offered in this campus. The facility of the classroom is very less. They are providing a projector and LCD screen, but it is not that much good. there is no good campus life, actually

Hostel Facilities

2

The facility in the room is there is light fan and a cupboard. Washing room is not attached to the room. It is common bathroom and there is no Wi-Fi facility in this Hostel and there is no good cameras in the hostel for security, but for four years. the Hostel is good with attached, bathroom and everything it's new Hostel and the meal quality is very, very bad, like we are not getting any nonveg. Food, and food is very bad.

Admission

After 12th, I wrote ICAR entrance exam through the Central portal. I got admission in in University of agricultural sciences, Dharwad is actually very good and we are getting good opportunities and experiences from here and we are interested with so many pros and many students, different different states, so it is very beneficial and the cut-off of the exam is like previously it was conducted by ICAR. Now the admission procedure is through CUET. THE CUET Rank REQUIRED FOR THIS COLLEGE is 2000-, 8000 WE WILL GET ADMISSION HERE

Faculty

3

The faculty at this college is very friendly to the students, and they will really care about our health and our studies. That exam pattern is semester wise, and mid semester wise , The external exam is for 50 marks and the internal mark is for 50 mark. in internal exam, there will be practical exam also. This course provide so many subjects like agriculture, culture, fisheries, forestry, pathology, entomology, environmental science ,statistics, genetics ,plant breeding , microbiology , agriculture engineering there are so many subjects are included in this course. The faculty that here many of them is very friendly, but many of the faculty don't have that much exposure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was very well structured with both theoretical and Practical exposure. The curriculum is designed in such a way that they are very relevant to real world , this also prepare the students to the real world applications and further academic pursuits. The improvements can be made in the practical part of the courses. There must be regular field visits and utilisation of funds to bring innovation. The internal exam would be after 2 to 2.5 months after the commencement of the semester and practical exams would be immediately after 10 days of the internals. The external or final exams would be after a month of practical exams. There will be enough time to prepare for the exams from the commencement of the semester but there will be no study holidays and gaps between the exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

All the subjects that are included in the course are really important to survive in the agriculture sector if someone wants to build career. These courses teaches from fundamentala to advanced technology covering each and every aspect of this field. I think practical experience plays very important role in preparing students for the real world challenges rather than theory. So college has to give more importance to practical classes and conduct field classes more often rather than classroom teaching. Exams schedule and difficulty level is at par
