Remarks

Overall it is a good college. It gives a huge amount of exposure through its curriculum and its environment.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is quite simple enough to learn and develop our skills. We just have a mid-semester exam and a final semester exam, apart from this we have CIA (Assignment) activities which will be held by each department individually. It is relevant and convenient. It's not research-driven but if a student is interested he can ask teachers to help them out. It certainly trains you in one way or the other to become a professional.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement cell is good in our college. I'm in my final year and it's just the beginning, so not sure of internships and job opportunities. But it's really good is what I've heard from a long time.

College Events

5

There are around 55 associations in our college and all of them organize their own inter-college fest and intra college fest. So every day one or the other event will be going on. Apart from this the college also has a student council which will organize event both intra college and inter-college fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee that I had paid in my final year is around 30k which is divided into various sections like tuition fee, laboratory fee, sports and development fee, library fee, reading room fee, electricity and water facility fee, college stamp fee, manual fee, maintenance charges and etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

I belong to the general category so I'm not much aware of scholarship as such. I've neither taken any education loan, so cannot describe it.

Campus Life

3

The campus is quite good and the gender ratio is not bad either. There is a huge diversity as people from all over India come here to study. So I see various perspectives on a single topic which is quite good. Labs are also good enough. Due to the making of the new building, the ground has become a bit smaller though but our college encourages sports. Various departments like math, English, physics, etc organizes various debates and other competitions like pot pouri and stuff. Extracurricular is really good.

Alumni/Alumna

I have never tried connecting with the alumni network personally. But I've heard from my seniors those who organize college fest and all that they quite friendly.

Admission

The application form will be put up on the college website. Once the form is filled the college will send an email regarding the interview session and the documents that need to carry along with you on the interview day for documentation and verification.

Faculty

2.5

The college faculty is good I would say. Each department has a mixture of young and experienced teachers. The experienced ones are a little difficult to handle as they have become old but the young and middle ones are good at teaching and explaining.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements right after completing their B.Math(Hons) degree, i.e after their 6th semester. Companies like Microsoft, Google, LinkedIn, Wipro, and other Multinational Companies visit and every student gets an offer from one company or the other. The package ranges from 10LPA to 25LPA. Those students who opt for placement after their B.Math(Hons) course is over, all get a placement offer while most of the students prefer to continue their Master's Degree. I too would like to complete my Master's Degree after my bachelor and think about further options thereafter.
