Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. We are still giving timed tests in math facts ! I know that's traditional, but it just isn't as important.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure: for bachelor of science(bsc), yearly fees is 34,000. And for bsc biotech it is 70k/year. And i have no idea about any scholarships. Total fees for B.A. is 97,000. This is the fix amount of fees may be not increasing every year. Registration fees is rs. 1500.
Campus Life
College conduct various festivals like diwali party, holi party, Christmas party. There are many clubs in college for students impowerment . Some clubs are of guiding and motivation, some for carrier counselling and extra curriculum activities. College held NSS camp for students
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is also good. There are 3 seater rooms available with chair, table, cubard and single bed for every girl. Ac or non ac both rooms are available. Food of hostel is also good as compare to other hostels . In starting, we have to fill the form and then they allot you a room in hostel after alloting they send you email of fees then you have to pay fees and they give you the date of coming hostel.
Admission
I choose this college for environment over other colleges. I want a best college in chandigarh bcz it's my dream to live in Chandigarh. And ggdsd is the best choice ever . All the other colleges in Chandigarh have too much crowd.
Faculty
Teachers are very friendly with students. I find the most coolest teacher -student bond here and all the faculty members are really nice. A male staff from physics department is very irritating. And maths faculty is just awesome ????. I don't know much about marking scheme because i don't gave any exam yet. Exams will be held in December.
