Likes

The ambience is very pretty it’s very green and the environment feels very welcoming
The faculty is very friendly and supportive
The crowd is my college is really fun and cool

Dislikes

Placement department is very bad and doesn’t give good placements
Teaching is very bad and they do not provide quality education
No events and fun activities at all in our college

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is pretty good but the faculty teaching needs to be improved. The subjects help a lot in placements but they need to be delivered correctly for it to benefit us . The subjects need to be known properly.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 260000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Since I came through comedk my fee was 2,25,000 every year with 25k for placements every year and 10k for skill labs every year. CET fees is 1lakh per year and the placement and skill lab fees are not included in it

Campus Life

There are 3 main clubs in our college. The disc club is very effective in helping students with tech related stuff and they conduct pretty good hackathons. The other two clubs are not pretty active in anything

Admission

I got nitte university aiml branch. But I didn't go there because it was too far for me and I always wanted to do computer science . Sahyadri provided me with the computer science and engineering branch that I needed and hence I joined here

Faculty

The faculty is very supportive and friendly but quality of education is not provided here. The faculty is fun and will help us with whatever difficulties we might be facing . Overall I would rate the faculty 6 on ten

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum has the necessary subjects of the branch...It is constantly updated every year to adhere to relevancy and comphrehensiveness of the course..My department of AIML teaches us the necessary computer subjects such as Nature Inspired computing, Deep learning etc and also the Maths and Stats whch is required for machine learning is though too ( Like Maths for machine learn and statistical modellign, inferential statistics, time series analysis etc)..These subjects also have lab components which help us prepare for real-world applications. But some of the older subjects on the other hand which might be core computer science or in first year..common subjects like CAED and others are not required and outdated. The frequency and timings of exams is moderate..neither good nor bad

My Real Experience as a First Year DSAI Student at IIIT Dharwad

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. The overall placement rate is good, but results depend a lot on your skills and practice

Though i needed cse with cybersecurity but i didnt get it so i went with Robotics and ai. In first year they have many subjects of all course which are basic and fundamentals of all branches Some are good in real world application They should add more practical stuff then theories We have 1 to 1½ month gap betwen internals and some 10 days gap between 2nd internal and sem difficult level varies every year
