The teachers are very good in teaching there no word abt that , they teach us very well and good even they help us in studying and they give personal attention to each student
The girls radio is equal to the boys ratio , there is no partiality btw boys and girls . I don’t have the crt radio of that but as I have seen there is equality and respect for both boys and girls

Dislikes

Teachers are little strict they concentrate more on study’s

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually I am in engineering 1st sem I took Information Science course because I got the sit through comdk in 2nd round, my main intention was to join this clg because there is good placements in this clg

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for CET students is 55000rs for every course in the clg per year . Where as for comedk students they take fee of 315000rs for every course per year . For normal admission students they take a fee of 350000rs for any course per year. The hostel fee is 70000rs per year and they also provide 3 times meals and maintenance cleannesses

Campus Life

They are many clg for different fields, even our clg provides hackathons every year and also the winner gets expensive gifts like iPad , laptop etc Our clg also had participated in off car event in north India, vvce had made a off car which was built by the students

Admission

I choose this clg because in entire mysore this is the only on engineering clg which provides placements, cultural festivals, events for studying and good environment of students and also a nice campus with decent average fee , they are clgs in mysore but it is not this cheap and vvce is in the top 2 clgs in mysore , the teacher are the best as compared to other clgs

Faculty

The faculty members are very good , with studying they also teach us moral values and discipline, the faculty members makes us meditate in every class for a min , they choose equality of boys and girls Helps in study's

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.

The college placements are pretty good and provide an average of 6lpa for the students. There are lot of IT companies visit to oyr college but there are no opportunities for the courses other than IT related branches. Students become eligible after their 6th semester in the academics.
