Course Curriculum Overview
Since I took up literature I'll say the curriculum met all the needs adiquately it wasn't over the top nor was it insufficient. They gradually teach you the things you might need in your pg as well almost like a warm up
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee for a year is 20 k the first year and it gradually decreases to 8k by the final year .I had to pay 45 k for the hostel and 5 k as caution deposit. There were no additional charges during the course of my education
Campus Life
Mcc has a bunch of cultural fest and one of the biggest one's is DEEPWOODS and halls of the campus have their own event like utsav, moonshadow, Octavia, Dionysia, galarompics and atara. These a mix of cultural, sports and theatre events
Hostel Facilities
The men's hall each resident gets a single room which is quite big and comfortable. They do not provide AC facilities to the students. In women's hall they reside in a three share room and the seniors or 3 or 5 years get single rooms in Martin hall
Admission
I applied for Bishop Heber, WCC and Stella Maris and i got in in wcc and Bishop Heber but i decided to go with mcc for it's years of legacy and quality education it is known for and my expectations were satisfied
Faculty
The faculty to study ratio is about 20:80. The faculties are often approachable not just for educational purposes but also for your personal issues . I had a professor who helped me a lot in guiding me to my higher education
