Course Curriculum Overview

5

I have in INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY branch i have choose this branch i really have a thing for coding and solving problems regarding curriculum I'll not say that it is perfect but it is good as our college provide us with many software based subject and languages etc. The areas in which should improve is go with new technologies ik it's imp. To understand the old one but emphasize more on new technologies, regarding exams college should change the curriculum of it i don't is that because of I'm a fresher but it is really hectic

Fees and Financial Aid

I got admission in YCCE through Open (EWS) seat and that's i got 50% off on my tution fees and if you're from SC/ST category than your's fees will be as low as 13-15000 only and in sense of scholarships if you're from Open category you can apply for EBC scheme from mahadbt portal it's kind of same as EWS ( Here in EBC you aslo get 50% on tution fees) but if you're from management quota then you have to pay fully 1,80,000 fees per year so try to get admission through CAP rounds

Campus Life

5

Our college biggest event is YASH and it is held in Month jan-feb and beforehand of yash every single depts have their own festivals and event's our library is vast with access of almost every other book and we also have access to digital library in classrooms we are provided with digital board and a projector as of sports we have different clubs for every sport's our sport's team have also won many championships and our college club's are totally run by students

Admission

Tbh from starting i wish to do my engineering in Nagpur itself i really have want to take admission in RBU but it got private and increased their per year fees to 3 lakh and it was just not affordable for me so then as of my second preference i choose YCCE and regarding admission process in B-TECH in my college you can get admission through JEE MAINS , MHTCET the eligibility is that you must have. More than 75% in your 12th boards and your JEE/CET percentile vary according to course and branch and about the most preferred exams for college both JEE and MHTCET are preferred but student's emphasize is more on MHTCET

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is rational , Talking about faculty to students relationships with some teacher's its absolutely great but with some it's really low , we have a subject name IKS and the sir ( Amit sir ) who teach us has very high energy i just loved his energy his teachings style is awesome, and we have a faculty for subject EM the mam is good, her nature is aslo friendly but in essence of teaching she just lack it she is really confused in herself we have 4 exams in a year including semesters we have two MSE ( MID SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS) and the ESE ( END SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS) means sem 1 and after that same for ESE 2 , as for the backlog to clear ratio that is different for different depts. And I'm not sure about the ratio and regarding course curriculum it's really great and because of NEP 2020 it has been better

The highest package offered was 38.5 LPA by the company GoDaddy, following by Nvidia with 30LPA. Every year 75-80% of the students get placed, including both on and off campus leaving the rest 20% opt for higher studies. Im currently unplaced and the college is still helping me out. After getting the degree I have decied to do job for 2-3 years and then opt for masters degree overseas.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i have decided to only go for computer science but as my entrance exam score was not that much good. So i decided to go for ai&ds branch as it have much scope than cse. Ai&ds syllabus is very much similar to cse branch so not that much difference. Some practical practice need to be improved in place of learning theory.
