What Students Say

Likes

Green campus, sports facilities and all the teachers are so senior
The senior network that you get here makes it way better than other colleges
There will be no such fests organized in this college from 2015 and this college is more driven to academic performance of candidate

Dislikes

Regular class test , assignment gives much less time to students
High academic pressure on student and if you get low marks in class teachers will assign extra classes to you
No fest only freshers and farewell party happens

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is so hard that you will not get free time in your semester as there wll be daily assignment and test in which you have to prepare although you might get time on weekends but not regular free time to explore diffrent things

Class Size: 73Course Fees: INR 141723 per year

Internships Opportunities

In academic calender there will be 2 months break after every year so that student can learn and do internship in this period, but as of now companies on campus comes very rarely to provide internship and one have to try only off campus

Placement Experience

Training and placements cell of this college and the teachers are really good , as of now mostly students placed on service based companies but product based companies also come and students also crack them but the number is low.

Fees and Financial Aid

As we know Akgec is affilated to AKTU so you can get scholarship if you belong to SC,ST,OBC and your parent income is less than 2 lakh/year, college provides you a form in which you jave to submit orignal documents for scholarship after this they will reach out to you.

Campus Life

Campus life is good but as i mention you will not get such free time in college due to academics but considering social aspects and clubs there will be many societies in this college and all are so helpful to make you extrovert and remove social anxiety from you.

Admission

In this college placements and number of students placed is very good as compared to other colleges and mostly in this college many students are outsiders so pg facilities and hostels are good, but because this colleges is near to my home so it is the best option

Faculty

So for all semsesters you have 4 internal exams according to that they will give you your internal marks 1. Sessional test 1 which is of easier side contains only 1 unit 2. Sessional text after 2 month of semester start contains next 2 unit. 3. Pre university test (PUT) This will be just 10 days before the main university test

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
