Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is not relevent to industry. To land a decent job you have to gain skills yourself. Few subjects are only relevent. Mostly its theory and less practicals. College hours are long so it can be challenge to manage skills and college all together
Internships Opportunities
They provide internship through internship mela event. companies visits mostly for third year and second year students for winter and summer internships. Virtual internships are also avaiable. CDC is responsible for internships and placements.
Placement Experience
Placements are decent for branches like CS/IT. The Average package is 12-14 LPA. Enough companies visit campus to hire students. Students get placed in Top product based campanies as well. On approx 70-80% students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Course Fees(approx) - For 1st year its higher around 1,65,000 (including tution fee, labs fee, examination fee etc). for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year it ranges between 1,42,000 - 1,48,500 per year. Additional expenses such as book bank for accessing updated and newly printed book will cost 5,000 (refundable). If you get back in any exam you have to pay additional amount of approx 1,200 for retest or if you want to get youyr copy re-checked it will cost 2,000 (approx). Hostel Fee (per sem) - 1,00,000. hostel is avalable for boys only within the campus. Scholarships are also available.
Campus Life
College organsises fest every year in March which is not great. Overall experiences is great if you make connection with right people. Multiple students clubs, technical and cultural socities are ppresent.
Admission
Apart from the negative aspects the college has decent placements. It is one of the Top Engineering colleges in Delhi & NCR. College provides a healthy enviornment to learn and grow your skills. Students culture is good.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is 1:20. Teachers are approacable and supportive mostly. they are well qualified. The course cirriculum is out-dated (at least till my batch) but they have made reforms for new batches. Some teachers only focus on syllabus, After mid-terms theres rarely any classes. Most time syllabus is not completed so you are on own for end terms. Tho teachers provide with important topics which helps a lot. Most students manage to pass. Exams are not that tough. some subjects can be challenging and require extra effort.
