Inside VIPS : Unpacking the college experience.

I like that in 3 year in my course you have to choose a specific domain between hr, finance , marketing to provide detailed insights. the curriculam has various practical ascepts like Business reserch , MPR , Marketing strageries etc that prepare us for IRL situations. I beleive assignments should not be taken at all and instead practical exams like viva presentaions can be increased weightage. SEMSTER EXAMS TAKE PLACE AT MAY - JUNE AND DECEMBER - JANUAVARY.

Recent companies that have collaborated with placment cell are - DEN publications , Coursera , LernX , varoius ngos , girl ups ,fincorp etc both with and without stipend ranging on experience. The posts are finance intern , majorly marketing intern , social media intern , data analysit etc. Moreover the placment cell provides with mock GD and PI practice sessions , data analyist cource with guarnteed 35k stipend and 20k fees was also provided, resume training etc.

Yearly the fees for BBA and BCOM for my year students is 1,20,000 ehle for new joinees its 1,37,000 that is yearly the fees is increasing. There was a one time registration fees of 12000 and 5000 for id card and few books. For BAJMC , BA{LLB} the fees structure is similiar however for BTECH and others the fees is little on the higher side as they include lab fees. i havnt availed any scholarship benefit or sc/st category but they do exist.

Fests are held throught the year like TED in september , initio in february or december , Spandan in November and others as well. range and accesabilty of books in library is also very high in libraries, technolgy and infrasture is excellent. We have basketball court and i believe teams for other sports as well however as im not into sports i dont have much idea. As previously mentioned the socities are the highlight of this collge. They cover everything from dance , music to art literaure , placement cells to NSS NCS, Enactus to womens rights club, From filmaking to Acting clubs. It's truly a talent hub.

I applied for BMS in DU but coulnt get good colleges like shaheed sukhdev there, i has simultaneouly wanted to get into VIPS in IP which i did. You need to write an entrance exam IPUCET for each course and admission is based on rank number. ranks 1 - 700 or 900 get 1 shift and till 2000 you can get 2nd shift in best ipu colleges like VIPS , MSIT , AND OTHERS.

The Faculty is respectful, knowledgful, helpful and very co- operative. Acc to me the ratio would be 1:40. The faculty is very friendly and most of them have a very amiable bond with the students. From my department of VSBS - our Dean MR. ramanpreet sir is truly the best thing the department has to offer. other faculty like ms. riddhima , ms.ankita , ms.parul , ms.ruchi , ms.nupur etc have proven to be great support. The curriculam is very informative, apt and practical. The exams are fairly very easy and almost all of the students pass it without any difficulty, The course is very relevant to future carrer goals of students.There is a credit system which assigns credits like 4, 2, 3 to various subjects based on their importance. For clearling final you must have for eg 56/60 credits for whole course for graduating. { If you pass an exam you get full credits for that subject }
