Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is mix of very old and modern techniques and technology The curriculum is not that Good as compared to the iits . There is a lot of room for improvement or labs and classe are very old the machines and equipments some times work sometimes work not

Internships Opportunities

3

Various internship opportunities are provided from big tech firms like Goldman Sachs ,Bank of New York for junior software Engineer role . They give a hefty some of more than 50000 and goes upto 150000 per month as a junior analyst. But know a days due to job crunch grabbing an internship is become more hard than getting a job

Placement Experience

4

The collage provide very good placement opportunities as compared to other collages in the Delhi region except for iits and iiits After the 6 semester the campus requirement process starts . Big companies like facebook ,Google , Microsoft, Larsen and toubro come and provide very good placement The average placement of my branch is like 1200000 and goes up to 2500000 lakh per annum Some companies provide packesges more than 1 cr but they mostly come to take students to abroad I am planning to get an internship in simesns electric after that if I like I would apply for full time role 70 to 80 percentage get placed

Campus Life

5

The engi fest one of the biggest students fest in Asia is celebrated every year in the month of February. Students from du ,iits and other collages come to attend this fest.the average footfall is 20000 students. The fest is celebrated for 3 days and these 3 days are absolute blast. The campus life is very good the campus is full of lush green forest The college has a dedicated library with over 10000 thousand books. The campus has also a dedicated badminton court football field basketball and volleyball court There are various clubs in the college like AWS cloud clubs , kalakriti, cultural council, mathematics and computing clubs etc

Admission

I live in Delhi and it's not that far from my home and my elder brother is also passed out from this college. He suggested me so I took admission. I also applied in the nsut for electrical vehicles technology I heard their curriculum is way advanced as compared to this collage but unfortunately I didn't get the admission there for some reason The admission is done though jac Delhi councelling process. After the jee result come out you need to apply for joosa council process . Once the process is done you get the admission

Faculty

2

There is 1 teacher per 70 students. Teachers are generally very helpfull if you behave properly.they provide various opportunities to excel in any field. I like Prof Ram Bhagat sir .he is very nice and helpful. Some professor like Bharat Bhushan he is a pain in the ass. There are two exams one mid sem and end sem Mid sem is of 20 to 25 marks and the endsem is for 40 to 50 marks The teachers give 15 or 25 marks as internal You get grades according to your class behaviour

Remarks:

The management is quite strict about academics and any sort of dishonesty is not tolerated (even if you copy slightest of thing from assignment, they have advanced technologies to detect the plagiarism) and straight away an F grade is given (which is Fail in that course). But this helps us doing things on our own and learning a lot. The research culture is very good here. Btech students from first year starts contributing to it.
