Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum followed by marwari college is same as the other colleges affiliated with ranchi university. Overall the college curriculum provide a good understanding of the course and give us some real life preparation too. While leaving some time for students to invest on their skill building .

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 3050 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My total fees for the first semester came out at rs 3050 only. I am doing a 4 yr course of b.com from Marwari college. I didn't get and scholarships or any financial aid. Facility wise the college is bit lacking as the building are bit old but faculty wise teacher are top notch and explain the topics very easily. Overall as compared to the price the pros outweighs the cons .

Campus Life

Campus Life in marwari college is lacking severally. Most of the time I can't even relate to the other students cause it feels like they are here to not study but to pass the time. Overall the campus Life is not so great but library has a wide variety of books

Admission

The main aspect for choosing this college is the attendance freedom they provide to the students. I am pursuing CA so I need lots of time for my CA studies and can't afford to go college on daily basis. I also applied St.Xaviers college, Mumbai and Ranchi but couldn't meet the cutoff for Mumbai Xavier's and had an accident before the ranchi Xavier's entrance paper.

Faculty

Overall there is sufficient supply of faculty from the college side . As for the syallabus and curriculum they follow the ranchi university syllabus pattern. There are 4 yr of college and 8 semester. The faculty are approachable and are good to talk to.

Great campus life in Jamshedpur

I choose Bcom because I have interest in the accounting sector , it helps me in the real life , currently I am working in the accounting sector . The exams timings was not much good, It has to be improved, the 1 st sem exam was held after 1 year of admission and afterthat next sem was taken earlier.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.
